Box Two integrated headsets feature an aluminum top cap, CNC-machined bearing cover, and split crown race with super-smooth rolling, precision bearings. The 1.5" headset is designed solely for tapered frames and forks but also includes an adapter which allows you to run a straight 1-1/8" inch fork in a tapered head tube. It has a 45° x 45° upper bearing and a 36°x45° lower bearing.
Made in the US from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, Box Two™ Chainrings are round and true. They fit 104 BCD four-bolt cranks and are available in black anodized with laser-etched graphics from 38 to 45-teeth.
The Box Two Hollow Center Clamp stem is cold forged from the highest quality 6061-T6 aluminum available. Featuring an open skeletal design and a dual mid-bolt wedge mounting system, they are lightweight yet maintain a very high level of strength. A 53mm extension stem weighs just 218g/7.7oz. By removing the rear pinch bolts and moving the mounting bolts to the middle of the stem, Box reduced the weight and E3size and eliminated a serious hazard to the rider’s knees. These stems come with either a 48mm or 53mm extension and have a 22.2mm clamping diameter. To ensure proper clamping force, the stem must be mounted on a fork with at least 45mm of exposed steerer tube. The Box Two External bottom brackets feature cold-forged and CNC-machined alloy cups, dual-labyrinth bearing covers and precision sealed bearings. They are the perfect upgrade to the budget BBs sold with most cranksets. Box Two External Bottom Brackets are designed to fit all 24-millimeter crank spindles and frames with 68 or 73 x BC 1.37-inch bottom bracket shells.
Box Two Fixed Seat Clamps are made from the finest 6061-T6 aluminum and cold forged for strength. They are available in multiple sizes to suit a wide variety of seat tubes and riding styles.
Box Two Front Hubs feature cold forged and CNC-machined, 6061-T6 aluminum shells fitted with precision sealed bearings and 20-millimetre, 7075-aluminum axles and axle nuts. Box Two mid reach levers incorporate many of the same innovative features and details as our Box One brake levers, like a body and perch cold forged from 6061-T6 aluminum, reach adjustment for accurate positioning and a single bolt clamp for quick and easy installation. But the Box Two Mid Reach lever has a smoother shape than the Box One long reach lever which provides improved ergonomics and one-finger braking. It has replaceable stainless steel pivot hardware and is fully compatible with carbon handlebars.
Box Two Quick Release Seat Clamps are cold forged and CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. Weighing in at just 27 grams/ 0.95 ounces in the 31.8 size, they are as lightweight as they are tough. The head of the quick release lever and the face of the clamp are given a proprietary low-friction surface treatment that ensures smooth lever action for the life of the clamp, without the need for a bushing.
