For added peace of mind and security the Box One Stem Lock adds an extra level of protection against losing your front wheel and fork legs in the event of a broken steerer tube. Cold-forged and fully CNC machined from a number of high-strength aluminium alloys the stem lock is built super tough. Designed to be backwards compatible with existing Box One Forks it will fit forks by other manufacturers.
Extruded and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, Box One Stem Spacers feature an ultra-minimalist design that is super lightweight. Weights range from 0.02 to 0.14 ounces (0.56 to 4 grams), depending on the size. Sold in packs of five, each set provides spacing adjustments from 1 to 20 millimeters. Available in anodized red, blue, and black to fit 1” and 1 1/8” forks. For the best performance, stack the spacers so the vertical supports are in alignment. Each kit includes the following spacers: (2) 1mm, (1) 3mm, (1) 5mm, (1) 10mm. Maximum recommended user weight for 1" is 99 pounds. Maximum recommended user weight for 1.1/8" is 120 pounds.
The Box One Brake Arms are cold forged and CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Cold forging produces the strongest, stiffest, lightest weight and most durable bicycle parts. Both sizes feature 35 millimetres of vertical brake pad adjustment—more than most linear-pull brakes. Other features include precision sealed bearing pivots, titanium and stainless steel hardware, a flexible cable noodle and streamlined cable fixing point.
Box One rims have a no-nonsense low-profile design that eliminates excess material, making them some of the lightest weight double-wall rims available. A 20 x 1.75 rim, for example, weighs just 362 grams/12.7 ounces. Strong and true, Box One rims have single eyelets to help prevent spoke pull-through, which means higher spoke tensions are possible. The Clutch Hub is a traditional clutch-based coaster hub design that eliminates all of the problematic elements on ordinary hubs and only keeps the parts that work. A super-strong Full 14mm axle, bearing configuration, and drag mechanism design stops the need for constant repairs. Equipped with external slack adjustment, which can be done with a 2.5mm hex key through a hub shell access hole (can be adjusted without removing the wheel), and an improved plastic hub guard spec. The Clutch V2 is laced to the Odyssey Quadrant Rim. The Quadrant rim is made from 6061 T6 aluminium and uses a double wall design with one large hollow chamber through the middle for added strength. Cold forged and fully CNC-machined from a number of high strength aluminum alloys, The Box One Stem Lock offers peace of mind and a level of added protection against losing your front wheel and fork legs in the event of a broken steerer tube. The stem lock runs through the centre of your steer tube providing compression for your headset and steering system. These are praticulary good for Carbon forks that use a carbon steerer tube and cannot accept a top cap or star nut. The Box One Stem Locks are backwards compatible with existing Box forks and may work with forks from other manufacturers.
