The original Shimano cycling sandals established themselves as an unlikely icon of their footwear range. But they have proved incredibly popular for leisure riders and two-wheeled explorers alike. They're now back with a fresh new look and updated design to make the SD5 Sandals better than ever. They now come in a range of standard sizes to let you get just the right size for you. The improved comfort liner does exactly what it says, enhances comfort, particularly when you're not wearing socks - though wearing socks is recommended when you're on the bike and pedalling. The sole is improved too, with a stiffness tailored for efficient pedalling but with tuned flex for comfortable walking too. You can choose to use clip-in SPD pedals for a secure pedalling feel but the cleat-cap lets you use flat pedals with ease too. Cleat Guidance These Sandals are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use cleats with SPD standard (2-bolt standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
Made from lightweight synthetic leather and using a foot-wrapping smooth upper, the Women's RC100W Road Shoes give an instantly comfortable fit devoid of hotspots and chafing. And thanks to the excellent breathability and ventilation holes, you'll enjoy fresh feet throughout your ride too. To get the fit just right every time, Shimano gives the RC100Ws three velcro straps. The straps minimise weight, reduces fuss and offers a reliable means of adjustment to get the fit just as you like it. The sole of the shoes is a light glass-fibre reinforced unit. This rates 6 out of 12 on the Shimano scale of stiffness, ensuring you get efficient power transfer to the pedals fort rapid progress but with enough flex to comfortably soak up the bumps and vibrations from the road. Lastly, extensive reflective details keep you more visible if your rides start early or stretch beyond sunset. Cleat Guidance These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
While sitting at an entry-level price point, the Women's RC3 Road Shoes deliver the fit, comfort and efficient performance normally reserved for higher-priced shoes. This is thanks to the aforementioned technology first developed and deployed on the S-PHYRE shoes. This has now trickled down to be accessible to those of you on a tighter budget. Dynalast Performance Comfort Starting with comfort, this is delivered via the Dynalast design, a single piece synthetic leather upper design that wraps the foot snugly. This offers a firm hold, foot stability and an optimized toe-spring section that ensures the most efficient and powerful pedal stroke possible with reduced fatigue over long distances. Perforations across the shoe keep your feet fresh too. The low-profile L6 dial gives you quick and easy adjustment of the fit, even on the bike. And at the end of your ride, it's simple to loosen the shoe to kick them off. Efficiently Fast The RC3s get you where you're going with minimum fuss and optimal efficiency thanks to a lightweight glass-fibre reinforced nylon sole. This rates 6 out of 12 on Shimano's stiffness scale, allowing you to get power to the pedals with minimal power loss. But at the same time, it has enough flex to soak up bumps and vibrations from the road, enhancing comfort on both short and long rides. They also feature a seamless midsole construction. This brings your foot closer to the pedal axles, giving a more natural pedal stroke and again maximising power transfer.
These mountain bike (MTB) pedals are feature-packed with performance-enhancing technologies that are specially tailored for aggressive DH riding. Shimano has equipped these with a non-pop-up aluminium pedal body for simplicity and durability. With the option to ride clipped in, these pedals also feature four height-adjustable pins per side for improved grip when not clipped-in. Coming complete with adjustable entry and release tension settings, these are a great choice of upgrade for reliable pedalling performance on your downhill mountain bike. Aggressive DH Riding SPD Pedals Clip into the Saint M820 series SPD pedal's robust retention claws for serious downhill riding. Improved axle durability raises these thin and tough pedals to a new level. Experience even better bike control by pairing with Shimano GR series shoes (available separately). Specifically developed for today's triathlon racers, this tri saddle is equipped with a hard-wearing microfibre cover with a water-based coating, which makes it great at handling the pressure from racing in all-weather conditions. Repente has also kitted out this version with an impressive long carbon fibre (LCF) shell for the best balance of stiffness and strength, without adding any unnecessary excess grams to your ride. Another highlight is its carbon fibre rails, which keep you firmly held in place as you put the power down, while also keeping weight reduced to a minimum. With a hidden central relief zone relieving pressure from around your sit bones and comfortable polyurethane foam padding keeping you supported, this is an ideal choice for the demands of triathlon racing. Comfortable Triathlon Saddle The anatomical shape of the Repente Spyd 2.0 triathlon (tri) saddle has been designed to provide comfortable Ischium support in the different pedalling positions, especially for those who like to spend many hours on their bikes. The Spyd 2.0 is the saddle for the rider who seeks the ideal balance between performance and comfort, as well as caring about aesthetics. The structure is reinforced with Long Carbon Fibres (LCF), oriented lengthwise. The quality/price ratio makes the Spyd 2.0 triathlon saddle unique in its market segment. Carbon Fibre Saddle Rails The saddle rails are entirely comprised of unidirectional T-700 carbon fibre, while for the main base, Repente’s R&D department used its renowned Long Carbon Fibres (LCF) technology. Instead of plain carbon fibre “chops”, longer carbon fibres are added to the resin, which thanks to a special injection process, are arranged to match the longitudinal flow of the material until they form a weave that increases the strength of the structure. The ergonomic features and materials used for the rail (T-700 carbon fibre) and the polyurethane (PU) padding are the same as in the Spyd TPX version. Repente Locking System (RLS) The Repente Locking System (RLS) allows the cover to be interchangeable in one simple and safe operation. While maintaining the same base, different models can be fitted to suit your needs. If the cover gets damaged you don’t need to replace the whole saddle. Comfort is provided by the central channel and by the ergonomic shape. Resistant to torsional deformation, the Repente Spyd 2.0 Saddle will let you find your most natural position on the saddle. Width: All Repente saddles take into account the conventional anatomical centre to position and shape: 1) The best point of contact of the ischium bones (sit bones) for comfort and ideal the position for performance. 2) The outline shape of the front of the saddle gives freedom of movement to the legs. Repente saddles with more traditional shapes such as the Spyd, are designed with the nose area typically narrow, so there are no issues from legs rubbing on the edges. In order to maintain the supporting function of the nose, Repente work with the highest quality of padding and their research and experience allows them to judge perfectly the quantity of padding to avoid any rider discomfort. Please note: Make sure your seatpost clamp is suitable for 7x9mm rails. The Repente carbon rails measure 7x9mm, so the seatpost clamp must accommodate this configuration. Please make sure that your bike has a seatpost clamp suitable for this measurement: the traditional 7mm clamp for round rails will not work. Manufacturer's Part Number: RP-ASS200-1300BK
