The Nukeproof Dolos wheelset has been designed as a strong and reliable wheelset for dirt jumping. The front hub comes with 20mm end caps fitted and there are additional 15mm end caps in the box. The rear hub is a 135mm x 10mm bolt up so will be perfect for those heavy hits. The rim is constructed from a special blend of alloys, which give it a similar hardness to 7-series alloy but with the ductility and yield properties of a 6-series. This means that you'll benefit from the best of both worlds as you ride. Nukeproof has also equipped this model with a micro-shot peened and anodised finish, which gives it an extra layer of resistance against corrosion and wear. As a result, you'll enjoy being able to session the jumps in all weather conditions, without worrying about the elements damaging your gear. Designed in-house by Nukeproof, these jockey wheels for SRAM and Shimano derailleurs offer a significant upgrade over the standard-fitted jockeys. Available in 10, 11 and 12 speed, Nukeproof has an option to suit most current derailleurs. Manufactured from hard-wearing lightweight polyoxymethylene plastic with a stainless-steel bearing, these jockey wheels are designed for durability and longer service life. The unique narrow-wide tooth profile design also allows for better shifting and reduced noise from your drivetrain. This pair of Nukeproof Horizon V2 wheels comes equipped with the brand's extensively trailed and tested alloy blend, which includes a rim construction that's specifically made to meet the demands of both enduro and downhill (DH) riders. Producing a hardness similar to 7-series alloy but with the ductility and yield properties of a 6-series, this wheelset gives you the best of both worlds in terms of strength, stiffness and weight. Both rims have the same profile, but the rear has a thicker sidewall for added strength on the trails. Another benefit is it comes equipped with J-bend spokes, which means that tensioning and spoke replacement is quick and easy. Enduro ABEC 5 Bearings After extensive testing with various brands of bearings, Nukeproof chose to use Enduro ABEC 5 bearings in this wheelset. These bearings have the “LLU/LLB” seal type, which uses two lips that make light contact in a groove to create a labyrinth where the water or dirt has a more difficult time penetrating. LLU seals are similar, only the contact pressure or interference fit is greater to seal better. Enduro bearings have 80% grease fill on both sides whereas most other bearings have 35% grease fill on one side. This delivers full coverage, so there are no dry areas as well as avoiding metal on metal contact or wear. This means that the axle feels tight out of the box and after a couple of rides it will become free. Nukeproof Horizon V2 Hub The Nukeproof Horizon V2 rear hub has 102 points of engagement and comes in a range of freehub options. Freehubs are also available separately and easily changeable if you choose to upgrade your drivetrain in the future. The 148mm HG / XD hub can be converted to 141mm using end caps. The hub has also been machined to remove excess material and make it as strong and light as possible. Nukeproof has fitted these hubs with its louder pawls and springs, this gives the wheel a nice buzz as you head down the trail. If you prefer the quiet life, you can get the quieter ones which are available separately. What's Included? Wheels come taped with a tubeless valve installed, so all you need to do is fit your tyre and add sealant. The tubeless valve supplied is the new Nukeproof Horizon valve which is compatible with Nukeproof ARD and other tyre inserts as well as the cap having a core remover built-in. A pair of ARD inserts are also supplied to give you maximum protection and there is a 500ml bottle of lifeline sealant in the box too, all you need to do is add your favourite tyres. By using closed cell foam technology, the A.R.D is a very lightweight tyre insert, yet it offers you lots of protection. It enables you to run your tyres at much lower pressures without risking flats, plus gives you a much-increased grip for thrashing around the trails. In fact, it's so good that Kelan Grant, a CRC-Mavic sponsored rider was able to complete a stage of the EWS on just his A.R.D as his tyre had split. Nukeproof end caps are available for the Generator 3 in 1 hub so you have the option to choose the axle system that fits your bike. This allows easy conversion between all major axle sizes: - QR, 135mm x 12mm or 142 x 12mm.
Part of the ABEC-5 line, these bearings are the revised LLU/LLB dual seal bearings. They place an LLU full contact seal on their outside facing surface, while the Inboard facing LLB medium contact seal allows for less drag. Their specific seal also increases their lifespan and offers exceptional performance. High precision balls are within 5/1,000,000″ round. These are military level specification, used for precision equipment. R-64 hardness, of the highest grade. The Nukeproof Enduro 61805 ABEC5 V2 Hub Bearing Pair is only suitable for converting the front hub of the Nukeproof Horizon V2 and Neutron V2 from 15mm to 20mm axles. This bearing will also fit many other hubs that use this size of bearing. This superb bearing sets the benchmark for high precision bearings.
This lightweight alloy freehub body features a 30-Tooth ratchet that provides exceptional drivetrain strength and increased engagement, which supplies a superfast power-transfer and acceleration from rider to trail. High-Quality Nukeproof have fitted this freehub with two high-quality, sealed cartridge bearings inside the freehub and a low friction seal that sits between the freehub body and the hub bearings, this effectively eliminates bearing contamination from dirt, mud and water.
This non-driveside seal fits all Nukeproof Horizon and Neutron v2 rear hubs. Hub Seal Changing this seal is easy by following the instructions below: 1. Remove non-driveside end cap 2. Take a thin flat head screwdriver and gently prize off the old seal 3. Push new seal in place 4. Refit non-driveside end cap

This freehub body features a tough alloy construction, which makes it perfect for replacing your old or worn-out existing model. Suitable for use only on Nukeproof Horizon V2 hubs, this freehub body is designed for quick and easy installation. Options: · Shimano HG · Shimano Microspline · SRAM XD A new hub seal and bushing is supplied with Nukeproof freehubs. Please Note: The new hub seal will be fitted to the freehub for transport purposes. This needs to be removed from the freehub by pressing the pawls BEFORE fitting the freehub. This rear wheel features 36 points of engagement and comes in a range of freehub options. Nukeproof has also made freehubs available separately and easy to change if you choose to upgrade your drivetrain in the future. The 142mm hub can be converted to 135mm QR and the 148mm HG / XD hub can be converted to 141mm using end caps. The hub has been machined to remove excess material and make it as strong and light as possible. Nukeproof have increased the thickness of pawl springs in these hubs to give secure engagement on every pedal stroke. The 6066 alloy rim has been extensively to ensure it is a rim which is light enough for aggressive trail riding but strong enough for DH. Nukeproof have used J-Bend spokes meaning tensioning and spoke replacement is much simpler than using a straight pull spoke. The wheels come taped with tubeless valve installed so all you need to do is add sealant and your tyre to get a finished tubeless setup. The valve supplied is Nukeproof's Horizon valve which also has a core remover built into the cap. This valve is also compatible with tyre inserts like Nukeproof ARD.
