First proven on the Ritchey TRAIL stem, the C220 handlebar clamp design creates a more secure interface by wrapping a full 220 degrees over the handlebar. Bolt forces are aligned with the clamp so that the stem body ‘embraces’ the handlebar, which is less prone to damaging lightweight bars. This clamp design allows for a lighter faceplate and stem body with no sacrifice in strength or stiffness. The Carbon Matrix stem body is forged 7075 aluminum with a stiffness-enhancing carbon exoskeleton which makes this 12% stiffer than the WCS alloy C220 stem. Premium quality CRMO steel bolts are used throughout.
This superb model is machined from AL7075-T6 and is ramped and pinned to ensure that shifting is precise and smooth with no chain suck. Additionally, its pins are stainless steel, which resists corrosion.
As entry level product goes, you’ll be pushed to find anything of this quality anywhere else. The Intense uses a virtually indestructible Grilamid TR90 frame with hydrophilic rubber temples, vented lenses and an adjustable nose piece. Equipped with a Smoke lens, the Intense Gloss Black includes a microfibre cleaning pouch. Lenses Smoke: 15.4% light transmission – best suited to bright lighting conditions. AC Red: 41.4% light transmission – All Conditions (AC) Red, suitable to a range of lighting conditions. Clear: 95.6% light transmission – built for extremely low lighting conditions, this is a great option for evening rides, or indoor training sessions.

Stay true, stay eccentric. The radical, modern geometry with a very long reach and a super slack head angle make this bike ideal for anyone who likes to go full gas. The heart of this beautiful 29'er hardtail mountain bike is its amazing steel frame built with custom drawn tange tubes with built-in gussets. This frame boasts a radical geometry with slack angles. Plus, at around 2.4kg, the Chromoly (CrMo) steel frame is light by any standards, but don’t worry, it’s strong enough to hold up to a lot of abuse. All the experience that NS Bikes has acquired over the years in building steel dirt-jump hardtails has been funnelled into this frame and it’s sure it's the very best money can buy. This is really a unique looking all mountain/trail bike and with the big wheels and dropper post that are included in the package, it rides like a dream both up and down mountains. We love the fact that this bike wants to be thrown around and changes direction with minimal input. Please Note: Due to ongoing issues in the global bike supply chain, NS Bikes may substitute certain component items due to availability. In this situation, they will be replaced with the same quality or better performing parts. After years of product conceptualisation and design development, Orro welcomes its first electric bike (E-Bike) into the Terra family. Early in the design process, it homed in on gravel riding as the basis for electric development. It wanted to give cyclists the ability to take on more mileage and make it easier to tackle tough off-road climbs. Terra E marks Orro’s considered entry into the empowering world of lightweight electrically assisted bikes. Electric Gravel Bike with 250 Watt Battery Terra E has an integrated design and user experience. Each of the five colour coded power modes are easily selected while riding using a backlit button on the top tube. The clean lines of this lightweight carbon fibre gravel bike belie its electrified nature. A svelte down tube hides the 250-Wh battery of the FSA System HM1. Plus, with an optional range extender cell which is carried in a bottle cage (sold separately), the capacity for power can be doubled. A mobile application wirelessly interacts with the system, adding the ability for riders to review battery performance and customise the settings. E-Bike Benefits with Road Bike Feel In developing a hub motor driven e-bike Orro was able to keep the horizontal distance between the pedals, known as 'Q Factor', the same as typical non-electric bikes. This gives Terra E a riding stance and pedalling characteristics that will feel familiar to all cyclists. The frame is designed from the ground up for System HM1 motor and battery units. These components can deliver a maximum 42Nm of torque and a range of around 50 miles. Integrated torque and speed sensors provide natural feeling assistance across each power setting. The complete electric drivetrain system weight is 3.98kg. Please Note: Due to ongoing issues in the global bike supply chain, Orro may substitute certain component items due to availability. In this situation, they will be replaced with the same quality or better performing parts. Please Note: There are Legal Requirements to ride a speed pedelec bike in the UK Speed Pedelecs are fantastic vehicles for commuting or leisure, but customers must be aware of the legalities surrounding their usage. The information below is a fact sheet that gives a quick introduction to what constitutes an S-Pedelec, and what is needed to ride them legally in the UK. Definition of a Speed Pedelec: A pedal bicycle with motor assistance up to 45km/h Motor power exceeds 250W Officially categorised as a moped in the UK Legal Requirements to Ride in the UK: Driving license Vehicle registration and number plate Vehicle tax Insurance Helmet certified for use on Mopeds Driving Licence Specifics: Driving test passed prior to Feb 1st 2001 = qualified to ride a Speed Pedelec Driving test passed after 2001 = Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) required prior to riding a Speed Pedelec CBT test will take one day, and cost around £150. CBT certificate is valid for 2 years ‘L’ plates required after CBT test until full motorbike test taken Full Motorcycle test required to be taken and passed in 2 years, or a fresh CBT required Speed Pedelecs are considered Mopeds in the UK and are subject to the same laws as a moped or motorbike License plates are required Mirrors come with the bike and should be fitted Forms required are V267 (new vehicle import), V55/4 (Application for a licence for a new motor vehicle and declaration for registration), and certificate of conformity V267 and V55/4 are from the DVLA. Certificate of conformity will be with the bike: this is required to complete the V267 and V55/4 form Fill in and send V267 and V55/4, along with the Certificate of Conformity to DVLA to register the bike Receive V5c form: vehicle is now registered Vehicle is tax exempt due to zero emissions Get a standard number plate Arrange insurance: this will range from around £130 for third party, to £200 for fully comprehensive MOT is required after 3 years Usage: Speed Pedelecs cannot be ridden on cycle paths or cycle lanes Moped/Motorbike helmet required as per UK Motorcycle helmet rules (EU Pedelec certified helmets are not currently compliant) While it seems a lengthy checklist for those who don’t already hold a relevant license, it is worth the time investment to access the countryside, city or open your commute to the possibilities of (speedy) two wheels. Please Note: This is meant as a helpful starter guide only. Laws and recommendations change, and you should always visit the DVLA website to check current requirements before using a Speed Pedelec. This handy kit is an ideal backup for when the metric shock mounting bolts on your Nukeproof Mega Carbon succumb to the abuse of your big and bold riding on the toughest terrains.
This handy kit is an ideal back up for when the metric shock setup on your Nukeproof Mega Alloy succumbs to the terrains and abuse that comes from big and bold trail riding. It's Compatible with 2018 and 2019 models.
This is an electrically powered mountain bike that's fitted with Shimano STEPS EP8 electric motor drive system and a Shimano Deore 12-Speed groupset to power you across the mountain range. It also features a wide-ranging 10-51-tooth cassette, SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes and a Brand-X Ascend internal dropper seatpost. Nukeproof has equipped it with a mixed-wheel-size platform (29"" front wheel / 27.5"" rear wheel) that offers a balance of rolling speed, agility and control. The wheels used are Sun-Ringle Duroc SD37 Comp wheels wrapped in high-grip Maxxis Assegai Wide Trail Tubeless Ready tyres. Since 2009 the Nukeproof Mega has been on a journey of constant development. From iteration to iteration, small incremental improvements gradually add up to become today’s thoroughbred Enduro race bike: The Mega V4. All things considered; you could forgive the team for resting on their laurels. Bike design and technology must move fast to keep up with the evolving demands of our customers. If you don’t keep up, then you get left behind. The Megawatt is Nukeproof’s first E-Bike, and it has won over the media with its agile handling, impressive suspension and balanced geometry. The top priority for Nukeproof was to partner with the right specialist; a brand that could offer leading-edge technology to help create ultra-competitive products whilst having the infrastructure in place to support customers during ownership. Shimano STEPS EP8 Electric Motor Drive Unit Using the latest Shimano STEPS EP8 system, the Megawatt has the torque, range, and performance to wear the Mega name. The Megawatt was developed alongside the latest Mega V4. This ensured that the geometry, packaging and suspension were optimised to perform and held no compromises. The Megawatt exceeds expectations with its descending performance and benefits from the combination of awesome geometry and the Shimano EP8 assistance to climb back to the top for more. Mullet Wheel Standard: 29" Front and 27.5" Rear Wheel Whilst humans may not have changed size much in recent years; the bikes they choose to ride most certainly have. To ensure a perfectly dialled fit we now offer the 297 bikes in S, M, L, XL and XXL. With a 29” wheel up front, maximises grip and rolling efficiency whilst the 27.5” wheel out back, allows the bike to run shorter chainstays to ensure nimble handling and maximise manoeuvrability. The rear chainstays also benefit from a 3D moulded chain guard to keep the frame protected and running quiet allowing you to concentrate on the trail ahead. Modern Enduro Inspired Race Geometry Lower, longer, steeper and slacker. Our new geometry is now designed around the saddle offset for each size to optimise seated weight distribution. This results in steeper seat angles across the board but especially on larger sizes for taller riders. This in turn results in longer reach figures to ensure a comfortable cockpit of each size. To further aid the perfect fit we have also used shorter seat tubes which are designed to maximise seat post insertion depths. Finally, all new Mega bikes are now designed to use short offset forks to further improve both climbing and descending capabilities. Progressive, Supple and Supportive 4-Bar Horst Suspension Platform To step-change the Mega’s suspension design we went back to the drawing board and started afresh. We redesigned the Mega 4 bar horst linkage to be super supple over small bumps, progressive and supportive throughout the mid-stoke for support when pedalling, cornering and pumping, with increased end stroke leverage to allow more tuning options with volume spacers. The new kinematic is designed to have higher levels of anti-squat for climbing gears but this reduces as you drop down the cassette. The result is a bike that is more confidence-inspiring everywhere on the hill. It behaves itself on the climbs; yet can still be thrashed through the roughest and most technical terrain on the way back down. The new Mega also has a wide SAG range (30%-35%) to allow you; the rider, to tune the characteristics of the bike to your preferences. Durable and Lightweight Alloy Frame with Internal Battery The Megawatt was designed from the outset to optimise the performance of the Shimano EP8 Motor and battery. Crafted from hydroformed 6061 aluminium, the Megawatt shares some characteristics and tube shapes with its Mega sibling but features several notable differences. An all-new one-piece cast Bottom Bracket shell has been engineered to house the Shimano Steps EP8 Motor. The downtube to has been designed to maximise strength and rigidity whilst providing easy access to remove the internal battery for charging or transportation. The Megawatt is offered in three specifications; Comp, Elite or Factory, to suit your riding needs and budget. Please see individual specs for full details. The Factory and Elite use a 630Wh Shimano battery, whilst the Comp uses a 504Wh battery. Both battery sizes will fit in each model with a secure and easy-to-flip mount system in all models. All bikes include a Shimano battery charger and adaptor to allow both on-bike and off-the-bike charging using either the Euro or UK charging cables included. Internal Frame Cable Routing Featuring entry points in the frame's downtube, the downtube of the frame has internal routing for the dropper cable, rear brake line, SD50 wires and gearing. This ensures a more user-friendly E-Bike for general maintenance and upgrading of components. The Megawatt: A Mega V4 with an engine.
