The unique 10t start of the XG-1270 cassette means the Force DUB chainset can use smaller chainrings than normal while retaining a similar gear for top speed. The smaller chainrings also mean you'll have a lower bottom gear for punishing climbs.The chainrings also feature closer ratio spacing than traditional double or compact chainsets, so you have a smoother progression between ratios, keeping your cadence more consistent and requiring less rear shifts to compensate, further improving the smoothness of your cadence and speed.
