Once engaged, the tool's plastic guide will fit into the near-side shell opening to hold the tool steady while you tap the handle end firmly with a hammer, until the bearing pops out. To install new bearings, the bundled bushings (included) are used with a headset press (not included) to quickly and accurately press the bearings into the shell.
