To keep the weight down aluminium is used to rivet the largest three sprockets and a fibre-reinforced composite the next largest two. Tipping the scales at a low of 232 grams for the 11–25T, and a high of 300g for the 14–28T option, regardless of your preferred choice you certainly won’t be weighed down.
