Painstaking work was carried out on the sprockets. The additional speed led Campagnolo to devising a new support structure for the last six sprockets in the two subsets. The form of the teeth is new and they have been treated to increase duration over time. Eleven sprockets that are even more efficient despite the reduction of the thicknesses? Campagnolo have succeeded. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and fluidity of shifting. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The large pinions are divided into sets of three and are mounted on a new aluminium frame. Thanks to this, rigidity increases 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion.
Specifically designed for the demands of modern road cycling, this square taper bottom bracket features a light alloy build for the best balance of stiffness and reliability without adding any excess grams to your road bike. Featuring a threaded design and weighing in at only 220g, this Campagnolo Chorus bottom bracket is a perfect choice of upgrade for smooth rotative performance alongside your crankset.
Whether you need a replacement or need the extra length to remount your Athena EPS system under the Seat this is the cable for the job.
The perfect coupling between central pin and pedal crank is ensured thanks to the particular geometry of the two components; this solution also makes it possible to eliminate the potential play between the different materials. To make the bottom bracket more efficient, they also worked on the inner part. Thanks to an elaborate sequence of thicknesses, they were able to obtain an incredibly light axle while offering an absolute response in terms of rigidity. Thanks to the studies conducted by the Campy Tech Lab engineers, material was removed in the zones that could be lightened but at the same time the points of maximum stress were strengthened. Only in this way was it possible to achieve such a high technical value. A careful working out of the dimensions made it possible to maintain the lateral measurements already defined with the "elder brother" Ultra Torque, thus guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and reducing the possibility of contact with the shoes.
The design is derived directly from the 11-speed components with the oversized outer plate to provide greater rigidity to the entire system. The surface treatment protects it from corrosion and ensures that the Veloce(TM) rear derailleur maintains its performance over time.
These Campagnolo brake blocks are for use with the Record, Chorus and Centaur Road Brake Caliper pad insert system, and they are ideal for wheels with metallic rims.
These new cassettes are based on a design with one triplet and 8 single sprockets with aluminum spacers and will be compatible with the rest of the range (aside from the 11-32). The 11-32 cassette signals the introduction of not only a new, lower gearing cassette, but also a new range of cassettes which are labelled "Campagnolo 11" and are available in the following combinations: 11-25, 11-27, 11-29, 12,27 and 11-32.
The sprockets must be shaped appropriately for the drivetrain to work perfectly. Each sprocket on this Campagnolo 10-speed cassette has an indented ramp, called Ultra Drive (UD), to assist in upshifting. The Tooth profiles are also custom configured to help with downshifting. The end result is perfect shifting and high-precision operation on every ride. Please Note: Not compatible with the Wahoo Kickr turbo trainer as this cassette has 8 inner arms. The Wahoo Campagnolo Freehub is only compatible with 4 arm Campagnolo cassettes. Skeleton geometry has made it possible to reduce weight without diminishing braking power while maintaining the same operating safety. The differentiated front and rear geometry ensures power and progressive travel. brake-pad height adjustment ratio: 40-50 mm (measured from brake fixing-bolt to brake-shoe-nut)
With the new Super Record, Record, and Chorus groupsets, shifting is extremely easy thanks to the long front plate of the front mech body, meaning greater leverage and therefore truly reduced movement when shifting. Shifting precision is achieved thanks to the design of the new narrower cages. The semi-inner cage, in aluminium, has features that improve shifting speed. The most efficient downshifting on the market is achieved thanks to the integrated outer semi-cage in carbon fibre, a distinctive Campagnolo feature on the Super Record and Record front mechs, or by the positioning of a plate on the tip of the Chorus front mech. S2 System (Secure Shifting System) The special support system built into the derailleur safeguards working of the drivetrain, guaranteeing maximum compatibility with frames on the market. Special Inner Cage Design The inner semi-cage, in aluminium, has features that improve shifting speed, give greater rigidity and provides more space for chain crossovers
