A cable is composed of an inner core and an outer core. The inner core is composed of one steel thread surrounded by 6 threads making one strand. At this point a simple strand or multi-strand cable can be produced. The composition of a single strand cable is (1+6) + 12 = 19 threads, and a multi-strand is (1+6) x 7 = 49 threads. Lasers have been set in place to increase production as well as to control the diameter on a permanent basis and in case of any anomalies stop the machine. Each laser sends out the information acquired to a central computer unit where statistics and analysis can be retrieved.
The sports filter has sub-micron filtration capability. What this means is that it is able to trap particles less than one micron in size which is more than capable of the removal of 2.5 micron particulate material (PM). Typically particulate pollution in the cities appears to be in the 2.5 micron size range. Particles smaller than this are known as respirable dusts, which can lodge deep within the lungs. Wrapping Tips LifeLine Professional Anti-Slip Bar Tape has a two tone finish. this looks best when the colours change just beneath the point where the brake/shift lever clamps on to the handle bar. It might be necessary to shorten the coloured portion of the tape to achieve this. We recommend wrapping the tape up to the clamp and measuring the length of remaining tape before the colour changes. Unwrap the tape and cut the measured length from the coloured portion before re-wrapping the tape using the figure of eight method.
