The Fly Bikes Tripod seatpost is a lightweight 6061-T6 alloy seatpost that uses a unique 3 point mounting system for an overall increase in strength and structural support without adding weight. The back two supports are pressed into channels found underneath a Tripod seat while the front support is secured down by a single Allen bolt for a tight fit. Designed by Ruben Alcantara, the Fly BMX pedals have been extruded and machined from 6061 T-6 aluminium for maximum strength. These pedals spin around the Hollow cr-mo spindle on both regular sealed bearings and needle bearings for extra strength. Fly's current hubguard compatible with the Classic Front Hub. Made with heat-treated 4130 chromoly it is very durable and will guarantee against spoke breakage due to grinding when installed. It replaces the cone on the hub, so once everythings tightened down it will remain rock solid till the day it dies. Heat-treated 4130 Chromoly steel. Knurled edge for best clamping grip. Fly Brake pads from Fly using their new SPS (Simple Pad System). These pads use a female bolt and two cone washers which screw into the pad to allow easier brake adjustment and eliminates the bolt sticking out.
Flys new brake uses the proven design of the earlier Classico brake but now without the inflated price tag, they have done this by eliminating the CNC process making this a lot cheaper. This brake comes with Flys new female brake pads in clear or black and redesigned cable hanger. Weight: 137g / 4.8oz.
The Manual brake cable is about as tech as a cable gets, with its spiral shell casing that ensures durability and consistent brake feel when wound up for tailwhips or barspins, an inner stainless cable with Teflon coating for flawless performance and the smoothest pull possible. Literally capping things off, two very unique aluminum CNC machined cable ferrules that have an internal cone shape that not only pushes the outer cable away from the inner cable to ensure zero bind, but also helps avoid “cable blowout” where the outer cable potentially pushes through a conventional ferrule, found only on Manual brake cables.
