Simply spray the Rain Shield Re-Proofer on a garment and you'll enjoy restored factory-level waterproof performance within 24 hours of application. The waterproofing technology reduces surface tension, letting water bead and roll off the surface. You'll also find it protects against mud and ground-in stains. And not only that, but it won't compromise the breathability of your garment either. It achieves all this protection while being safe for the environment, thanks to a water-based and PPCF-free formula. How To: 1. Shake the bottle well before use to activate the formula. 2. Spray all over a clean, damp garment from 10-15cm away until the garment is fully treated. (Recommended using a technical performance wash to clean the garment before application. Always follow the washing instructions on the label.). Muc-Off recommends spraying in a well-ventilated, dry area. 3. Remove any excess treatment with a clean cloth. 4. Allow treatment to cure. Air dry by hanging up and leave to dry overnight before wearing the garment in wet conditions again. 5. The efficiency of the DWR applied to the surface of the technical apparel will gradually wear off over time with normal wear and washing, so it's recommended to refresh the coating every 3 months depending on wear and washing. All waterproof clothing needs to be cared for to keep it performing at its best. Using ordinary household detergent will ultimately break down the DWR and impair the water repellent due to the heavy surfactants in these products. If you notice that water is no longer beading on the surface of your garment and soaking into the fabric then it is time to refresh with a re-proofer. Best applied to a clean, damp garment for optimum results.

But Technical Wash (300ml) is perfect for refreshing those garments and extending the life of your outdoor kit. It's ideal for use on any waterproof/water-repellent fabric, including Gore-Tex®, Polartec®, Pertex®, eVent®, softshell and hardshell clothing. Shake it up and use 25ml (5 x 5ml/0.16oz capfuls) per wash load for best results to keep your garments fresh, made with a biological PPC-free formula that's safe for the planet and your garments. How To: 1. Place garments to be washed into your washing machine. 2. Shake the bottle well to activate the formula. 3. Use 25ml (5 x 5ml/0.16oz capfuls) per wash load.4. Dispense Technical Wash for Apparel directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine, in place of normal washing detergent. 4. Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F or according to care label instructions. 5. Allow garments to air-dry. Top Tip If washing water-repellent/waterproof garments It's recommended to re-treating with Muc-Off Wash-In or Spray-On Rain Shield ReProofer after the wash to restore the water-repellent finish.
