With just a base layer, this is a wind-protection jersey for mild conditions. Alternatively, use it over a jersey like a vest with added protection on your shoulders. Lightweight, breathable front wind protection with allover water repellency. Lightest Castelli short-sleeve wind protection GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® 203 Stretch lightweight fabric on front and sleeves Nano Flex Light Woven on back for breathable stretch with good water protection Top- and bottom-opening YKK® Vislon® zipper for easy ventilation adjustment on the fly 3 rear pockets Reflective panel at bottom of pockets The Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey started life as a request from our pro riders: I want to wear the Gabba all the time, but sometimes it's too hot. So a somewhat lighter and more breathable Gabba became the Perfetto Light. With the fourth generation, we've also changed the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey. And it has become a staple in our autumn and spring wardrobes because it's so useful in so many situations ... which makes it very hard to define. In one sense it's a warmer vest, since it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 Vest but with short sleeves. In another sense it's a less warm Gabba. In another sense it's a jersey with front wind protection. Regardless of how YOU define it, you'll appreciate how it gives the right amount of protection on cool days while maintaining a high level of breathability. It makes you feel warm and protected, yet offers almost the same lightness and freedom of movement as a summer jersey. For mild days, we'll use it as a jersey over a light base layer with Seamless arm warmers. For rides in cooler or changeable conditions, we'll layer it over a jersey, with either Seamless or Nano Flex arm warmers. The 2 part of the name refers to the updates to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with both top and bottom openings for more adjustable ventilation. The reflectivity on the back is more visible, the three pockets hold more gear, and the extended tail has been reduced to make the piece more packable.

The Goccia Jacket from Castelli is a pared back design that focuses on doing three things superbly: it is fully waterproof, the four-way stretch provides ultimate comfort regardless of body shape, and it provides an aerodynamic advantage even in the wet. At the core of the jacket is the Tempesta Stretch fabric, which gives the Goccia its rain protection and stretch fit, as well as making it durable and packable enough to fit in a jersey pocket. The fabric has a windproof PU membrane that provides 10,000mm waterproofness, as well as first-class breathability for warmer temperatures or when your body is working harder. Taped shoulder seams prevent water entering the jacket at one of the most exposed points, and a covered YKK zipper stops water getting in on the front. An extended tail provides protection from wheel spray. Designed to be worn over a jersey, the shell jacket has foregone rear pockets to keep the construction simple and reduce seams. The other upside of the minimal design is it looks great on and off the bike. Key Features Tempesta Stretch fabric with windproof PU membrane provides 10,000mm waterproofness 20,600g/m2/24h breathability Taped shoulder seams for waterproofing Stretchy for extremely comfortable fit that moves with you Packable enough to fit in jersey pocket Covered easy-sliding YKK Vislon zipper Extra-long tail for protection from wheel spray Vented back Reflective stripe on lower back Weight: 204g (Large)
This jacket does three things really well: the Tempesta Stretch fabric provides full waterproof protection, the four-way stretch makes it fit any body type, and it looks great on and off the bike. Compared with our more expensive GORE-TEX® Idro jackets, you give up the best-in-class breathability and extreme packability, but you gain stretch fit and increased durability. We developed the fabric to our own specifications to make a jacket that is fully waterproof, comfortably stretchy, packable enough to fit in a jersey pocket, and with an appearance and hand that make it look great. This is meant to be a rain shell worn over a jersey, so we've forgone the external pockets and kept the construction simple to minimize seams. We've given it a vent on the back to prevent overheating, a covered zip to keep spray out and reflectivity for safety. What it is: This elegant jacket provides full waterproof protection with a stretch fit for comfort and aerodynamic performance. The jacket is protective enough to wear all day yet looks good on a gravel ride or when you're meeting your mates at the café. Features: Tempesta Stretch fabric with windproof PU membrane provides 10,000 mm waterproofness with 20,600 g/m2/24h breathability Taped shoulder seams for waterproofing Stretchy for extremely comfortable fit that moves with you Packable enough to fit in jersey pocket Covered easy-sliding YKK® Vislon® zipper Extra-long tail for protection from wheel spray Vent on back Reflective stripe at lower back 5°-14 °C / 41°-57°F Weight:204 g
