The Vuka Alumina base bar delivers on a big challenge given to Zipp's engineers – create a high-performance aluminium base bar that’s sleek and light with the right amount of adjustability. Base Bar with Internal Cable Routing The Vuka Alumina base bar is sleek with clean internal cable routing for easy installation. Handgrips are angled upward by 5 degrees for a natural wrist position when climbing or sprinting. The bar’s mounting area is 120mm wide to allow for an array of positions to accommodate many riding styles and body types. The Vuka Alumina is compatible with all current drive-train systems and all plug-in-style brake levers. It’s optimised for use with the Vuka Clip but is compatible with most clip aerobars on the market. Bead Blast Finish The Vuka Alumina is lightweight at 250 grams, has a 40cm (centre-to-centre) width and a 31.8mm clamp diameter. The Race was designed using data compiled from thousands of fit sessions with recreational and professional cyclists and triathletes by the world’s best fitters. The Vuka Race bend places the wrists at a more natural bend to help riders remain in their tuck to optimize aerodynamics. 175 grams. Vuka Alumina Evo 70 and 110 extensions are available in both a 70mm (176g) and 110mm (180g) rise. Designed to deliver improved aerodynamics by placing hands closer together and nearer to the rider’s head to start airflow over the rider sooner.
