A hard nut for thieves to crack: the GRANIT 460 U-Lock cannot be bent open or attacked using ice spray. This U-lock has a lot to offer: the 12mm parabolic shackle, the housing and the load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are manufactured using specially hardened steel. When combined with the ABUS Extra-Class cylinder, they result in a lock which can rightly be considered the safest way of securing high-value bicycles. The locking mechanism is a stand-out feature: not only is it particularly secure thanks to the double locking system but it is also supplied with a coded reversible key. By ordering other locks which are coded appropriately, all of the locks owned by the members of a single-family can be operated using one key, for example.
Following our extensive research project fi’z:k undertook a whole new construction for the ultimately comfortable, high-performing women’s saddle, Luce. It has a wider sitting area shape narrowing down toward the nose for better weight distribution and less friction on the thighs. Luce Carbon Large is a wider option, to accommodate the best fit for all women cyclists, with a maximum width of 155mm To create a shape for truly comfortable high-performance long rides, we made the strong, light shell from three separate sections: a carbon reinforced nylon spine co-injected with two very flexible, strong panels made from a thermoplastic elastomer. We built the Luce Carbon Large on narrow carbon Mobius rail construction, accommodating a specially designed elongated pressure relief cut out, offering a combination of flexible support – called IschialFlex - under the sit-bones and comfortable freedom for the rider’s soft tissues. This unique shape that provides a perfect profile for female cyclists and maintains structural stability over time. Luce Carbon Large - made for women - has a maximum width of 155mm and weighs just 185g.
