Gravity Arc Tread Design: The new design of the Vapor uses even the space in between the lugs to increase traction with 3D faces enlarging the surface of the tread. The surfaces are determined by free falling u-bends or Arcs. The shape comes naturally, and at a minimum material input to keep weight low. The contact patch or "footprint" of the tyre to the ground gets bigger, therefore improving traction. Additionally, the Arcs/u-bends reinforce the tread blocks which helps the tyre hook up more effectively. The lugs flex less under load, so steering response is improved as the shoulder knobs do not squirm during cornering. This is because the stresses are dissipated over a wider surface area. The tops of the tread blocks are sharp & hard and cut through wet & loose surfaces more rapidly. Additionally, they hold very well on hard stony ground to give a more responsive ride. The edges of the lugs are rectangular to the incoming traction & steering forces - this way the lugs can take the forces and deliver them directly to the ground without braking loose. The shoulder edges (left) run with the rotation for fast & secure cornering The centre tread edges (below left) run at 90° to rotation for perfect traction & braking.

LifeLine Essential Commuter Road Tyres offer the perfect combination of speed, traction and resilience for the rigors of a daily urban commute. The tread pattern features deep channels to shift surface water away from the center of the tyre for increased grip in wet conditions. The raised, textured shoulders add further grip in tight corners for a stable and confident feel as you dodge the potholes and sprint for the lights before they change. The aramid folding beads provide a secure interface with the rim whilst also allowing easy installation. Effective Puncture Protection A tough and lightweight Kevlar breaker sits beneath the tread to guard against road debris, helping prevent punctures caused by rolling directly over sharp objects. Size Matters The 28mm and 32mm options offer a smooth cushioned feel, increased contact with the road and added grip. They will fit on the vast majority of hybrid and cyclocross / gravel bikes. The 28mm option will fit on road bikes with increased clearance at the fork crown, chainstay bridge and seatstays. Both options will also fit on 29er mountain bike wheels so you can take you off-road rig up to speed on the tarmac.
K-Guard Protection K-Guard is Schwalbes minimum standard for protection belts and has been proven for many years now. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with Kevlar fibres. Together with the 50 TPI carcass all Active Line tyres are well protected against punctures. Please note: These versions does not have the reflective stripe around the sidewall.
Equipped with a flat centreline tread which reduces rolling resistance to a minimum, this pacy and poised Schwalbe tyre is all set for the most adventurous road runs. The Lite Skin carcass ensures a low weight without sacrificing durability, while the Addix Performance compound ensures a hard-wearing and long-lasting showing. Blocky shoulder lugs add impressive cornering and braking grip to every rampant run, making this Hurricane model a top choice for the versatile, go-anywhere rider.
The Panaracer Gravel King Road Tyre is made from ZSG natural compound that produces the same rolling resistance as the premium compound and provides enhanced wear resistance to create a lasting training tyre with excellent ride feel. The technology doesn't end with the compound as AX-a technology uses an extremely narrow cord weaved to a super high density into the casing for lightness, flexibility and improved resistance to cuts and abrasions. If you're looking for a light yet resistant tyre to go anywhere, the Panaracer Gravel King Road Tyre has all the technology you need to expand your horizons on every adventure.
Prime Time Inspired by cyclists sprinting for ‘primes’ (pronounced ‘preems’) in criterium races, LifeLine prime race tyres are designed for high speeds, tight bends and the pursuit of victory. The slick centre tread keeps straight line rolling resistance to an absolute minimum while a channeled pattern in the shoulders provides increased grip in the corners and helps to shift surface water in poor conditions. The 60a durometer compound offers excellent traction for confidence on twisty descents and hairpin turns. Case Closed The 120TPI (threads per inch) casing provides increased strength and flexibility while reducing weight. This allows the tyre to withstand the high pressures needed for racing, and the reduced rotational mass offers faster acceleration and agile handling. A tough and lightweight Kevlar breaker sits beneath the tread to guard against sharp road debris, helping prevent punctures and keeping you out on the roads for longer. The aramid folding beads provide a secure interface with the rim whilst also allowing easy installation. 23mm or 25mm? LifeLine Prime Race Road Tyres are available in 23mm and 25mm options so you can choose between the feedback and precision of 23s, or the more cushioned and stable feel of 25s. Custom colours are also available to match with your kit theme.
This value for money tyre is an excellent option for jumps, transfers and vert riding. Providing exceptional grip and traction while maintaining speed thanks to its superb rolling efficiency. The Continental Contact City Tyre is an ECO 25 tyre meaning it has been optimised and reccommended for e-bikes at speeds up to 25 km/h and guarantee low rolling resistance with great puncture protection. If you want an all-rounder or an e-tyre that is reliable all year round the Continental Contact City Tyre is a simple choice.
The tyre for all year use in and around town in all conditions and soils, providing high comfort, and good puncture protection due to the robust gum wall sidewall and generous rubber tread. The compound uses a high degree of natural rubber which is unusual for a tyre at this price level. This means that the tyre will provide greater wet weather grip making it safer in cornering and under braking on wet, greasy city streets. The tread is designed with our unique "Endless Edge"- block design system, as with all Conti's new generation off-road MTB tyres featuring five-cornered blocks in variable orientation for effortless, precise steering, safe handling and responsive braking grip. Please note: the side wall image is a stock image and does not contain the reflective strip. The delivered tyre will have a reflective sidewall.
A tread for every intended surface, the obligatory breakdown protection belt and a high mileage compound ensure the TourRide is a trustworthy option for many carefree miles. Sizing Option Explained: Although this tyre mentions 26", it is NOT compatible with 26" wheels with the more common 559 ETRTO sizing. This tyre has a larger ETRTO of 584, so it's only compatible with wheels that have this larger size or 27.5" wheels. Please check your current tyre's ETRTO number on its sidewall before choosing these tyres.
