The versatile tread rolls easily and with low vibration, but grips safely and reliably on gravel roads and smoother, dry trails. Technologies: ADDIX Speedgrip: The universal compound. It definitely has the widest range of use. Perfect for XC, AM and Trail: for the majority of EVO tires there’s a version with ADDIX Speedgrip. It replaces the previous PaceStar compound where during extensive use it offers more mileage and longer life. It offers you lots of everything: speed, grip and durability. Combining all three characteristics to achieve the perfect compound is almost impossible in theory, but now Schwalbe has done it with ADDIX Speedgrip to an extent that they never thought possible. Tubeless Technology: For all ambitious sports cyclists, tubeless is the right choice. Only tubeless achieves the best values in terms of speed, grip, puncture protection and comfort RaceGuard: A Double layer of Nylon fabric under the tread. Excellent puncture protection for a tire that should be fast and lightweight. 2 layers of crosswise Nylon fabric, 67 EPI carcass E-25 (electric bike ready): Tyres with the recommendation "E-25" are the perfect choice for all pedelecs with pedal assistance up to 25 km / h. Schwalbe Procore Tyre Liner Inner Tubes
  • £9.99
  • RRP £43.99

Off-road: Riding at lower pressure means better performance ... but at the same time, it increases the risk of failures. The limit so far is at about 20 psi, below which it’s hardly possible to dare to ride normal MTB tyres. But nothing stays the same: In the future, air pressure can be controlled in the tyre‘s double chambers. In the outer chamber, the air pressure is extremely low - ideal for maximum off-road performance. In the inner chamber, directly on the rim, there is high air pressure – even a very strong impact cannot dent the rim edge. At the same time, the inner high-pressure system secures the tyre onto the rim. “Burping”, the dreaded loss of air at low pressure in conventional tubeless systems, is impossible. The Name PROCORE is derived from "Progressive Core". The core (internal high-pressure chamber) progressively absorbs even the hardest impacts. Compatibility You can mount Procore with any tubeless compatible MTB tyre. The system is available for all three MTB wheel sizes (26", 27.5", 29"). Weight approx. 200g per wheel. Compatible with all wheels, independent of the brand. Minimum inner rim width: 23mm. PROCORE is a joint development of SCHWALBE and SYNTACE. PROCORE - the outer chamber The outer chamber is tubeless. Therefore, any tubeless compatible MTB tyres can be used. The tyre is filled with some liquid sealant (approx. 60ml) and should be at least 57mm (2.25") wide. PROCORE - the inner chamber Two special Procore components form the inner high-pressure chamber: the special Procore tube and the Procore inner tyre. This "core" is extremely high-pressure stable and at the same time very light. The Rim Of course, the rim must be tubeless compatible and sealed with a tubeless rim band. It should have an inner rim width of at least 23mm. The wider the rim, the easier the installation and the better the performance under low air pressure. The very wide Syntace rims are a perfect fit. The PROCORE Valve The patented dual valve of the Procore tube distributes the air into both chambers. The upper part of the valve is a selector. With a simple turn, you select whether air is pumped into the inner or the outer chamber. (Valve sold separately). The PROCORE Air Guide The small red component made of white plastic ensures that the air can flow past the inner high pressure chamber into the outer low pressure chamber. - Tyre pressure can be reduced to a minimum 14 psi, thus providing a huge amount of grip. Even on the roughest terrain tyres “stick” to the ground. - Due to the extra cushioning and traction there is much better steering, braking and traction control. - No more risk of snake bites. The rims are extremely well protected from denting. - Even in the toughest conditions, significantly lighter tyres can be used. - Excellent emergency running characteristics due to the internal high-pressure air chamber.

The spikes work best on ice when running at minimum pressure, while at maximum pressure the tyres can be ridden on ice-free roads with minimal road noise. In order to ensure that spikes are permanently fixed, tyres should be run in for about 40km on asphalt, while avoiding any fast acceleration or heavy braking. SMARTGUARD FLAT-LESS The safest puncture belt for bicycle tyres. Unbeatable for more than 15 years. It has proved itself in practice more than any other tyre. Only tyres with SmartGuard are real flat-less tyres. Spikes F&Q's Can it also be ridden on a normal road? Without any problem, but if the road is only rarely covered with snow the resulting tyre noise may prove annoying. And it won't slide out in cornering? No. The spikes 'claw' really well into normal asphalt roads and even fast cornering is not a problem. Aren't spikes illegal? Bike tyre spikes are no problem. Only motor vehicles spikes are prohibited in some countries, because they damage the road. Fast E-bikes are however considered motor vehicles. Do the tyres have to be run in? In order to ensure that spikes are permanently fixed, tyres should be run in for about 25 miles on asphalt, while avoiding any fast acceleration or heavy braking. What is the lifespan of the spikes? All Schwalbe spikes have a core made of extremely hard-wearing tungsten carbide, so they can cover a few thousand miles. It is normal for the spike edges to round off and for them to become more deeply embedded.
