Gain Traction: LifeLine Essential Road tyres feature a subtle textured centre tread for the perfect balance of grip and straight-line rolling speed. The curved shoulders are patterned with dense shallow channels for increased traction in the corners, giving you the confidence to push harder and brake later into the corners of your local training loop. Just In Case: The 60 TPI casing provides a light and flexible platform for the 70a durometer rubber compound tread. A high-density nylon breaker band sits beneath the tread to guard against sharp road debris, helping prevent punctures and keeping you out on the roads for longer. The aramid folding beads provide a secure interface with the rim whilst also allowing easy installation and transport, ideal for keeping a spare on cycle tours and epic endurance rides. 23mm or 25mm?: LifeLine Essential Road Tyres are available in 23mm and 25mm options so you can choose between the feedback and precision of 23s, or the more cushioned and stable feel of 25s. Weights: 700x23c: 230g 700x25c: 280g 700x28c: 320g
Panaracer's exclusive Multi-Step knobs have various heights designed into each knob These stepped knobs help tyres to perform in all conditions from hard to soft. Short big knobs are specially designed to provide an excellent ride that also delivers the lightest weight full knobby MTB tyres. The new ZSG Natural formula integrates more natural rubber into the compound. This compound has the same low rolling resistance as the premium compound and it has enhanced wear resistance making it perfect for a long wearing training tyre.
The Tufo Calibra Lite is a lightweight tyre designed for Time Trial use & racing when dry & on good smooth road surfaces. In spite of super low weight, this tyre has good puncture resistance & the slick tread contributes to low rolling resistance.
With a design inspired by MTB tyres developed with Julien Absalon, Black Mamba CX TT combines lightness and fast rolling. Its numerous exposed knobs guarantee exceptional performance. Its tread favours speed and rapid spurts. Its Race Riposte rubber side knobs inspired by Cobra guarantee good side grip.
The protection offered against penetration and pinch flats is 300% better than standard tyres. Panaracer's new Mile Cruncher rubber compound ensures long life durability, fantastic grip and great ride comfort. The All Contact tread shape optimises tyre performance by minimising rolling resistance and maximising cornering contact with the road.
The shoulder knobs were borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF and then beefed up to handle duty as a rear tyre with the centre tread being heavily ramped and siped to roll fast and track straight under braking. Maxxis 3C Triple Compound mountain technology uses a harder, longer lasting base layer and two progressively softer top layers in order to optimise traction and stability. Maxxis offers three different configurations of their 3C Triple Compound mountain technology; Maxx Speed, Maxx Terra and Maxx Grip. 3C Maxx Terra Compound Maxx Terra is an intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain bike tyres. It is softer and offers more traction than their 3C Maxx Speed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than their Maxx Grip. EXO Protection Technology An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high. TR (Tubeless Ready) Technology Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. Their TR tyres use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tyres are the only Maxxis tyres approved for use with liquid sealants.
To install, remove the included valve cap and nut, insert valve through the rim, thread nut on to the valve and tighten by hand.
Race Riposte XC (RRxc) Triple Compound Triple compound construction works like this; hard understructure compound (94 ShA) supports the grippy softer lateral compound (50 ShA) as well as the medium durometer rolling compound (70 ShA). The third compound adds another level of structural integrity to the tyre. Tubeless Ready/HardSkin Performance Tubeless technology facilitates low-pressure riding, optimises grip and increases yield, improving tyre performance. Comfort: The Tubeless concept dispenses with the inner tube ensuring incomparable comfort and allowing low-pressure riding. Puncture Resistance: The Hardskin casing reinforcement provides puncture resistance on the tread and sidewalls. Technologies: Gives performance, grip and high-quality fast rolling. Ideally suited for dry and slightly loose XC and Enduro terrain. The ramps on the centre knobs provide excellent and predictable soft and dusty terrain braking. The Lower lateral (side) knobs in three distinct shapes hang on to the trail as the tyre deforms under. HardSkin bead-to-bead puncture protection.
For use with tubs or tubes with removable valve cores.
An essential component to protect your inner tube's valve core, the tough and durable Token Valve Caps will add a touch of class to your ride.
The Ardent doesn't forget the racer with large block-style side knobs offering numerous edges for high-speed cornering. The centre tread, while ideal for braking and accelerating traction, also features ramped knobs to minimize rolling resistance. With a wide variety of size offerings, the Ardent captures every mountain biker's needs. Technologies: Dual Compound: Two compounds used within the tread of select tyres to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip. TR (Tubeless Ready) Technology: Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. EXO Protection Technology: An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the tyre's performance remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
The Tufo Calibra is an all-round racing or training tyre and features a fine tread pattern and puncture proof ply. Together with activated silica tread compound, the Calibra provides excellent grip on wet or dry roads.
