Characteristics Made of polyester: the best material for technical tapes, with very high mechanical properties. We spent a lot of time trying to find a reliable, strong tubeless tape that doesn't break the bank, and after considerable testing we have the product. Used for OEM set ups on Nukeproof and Prime Wheels, the Lifeline Tubeless Tape provides an effective air tight seal. We recommend you use the tape that is 2-3mm wider than your inner rim width.
When used on Presta drilled rims (valve hole diameter: 6.5mm), the rubber valve base ensures a perfect air-tightness simply tightening the valve on the rim (with its nut), without any additional adapter. When used on Presta drilled with a wider (> 6.5mm) inside hole, or when used on Schrader drilled rims (valve hole diameter: 8.5mm), Effetto recommend fitting the conic adapter on the valve before inserting it into the rim. Use the metal washer on the outside of the rim, before tightening the valve nut.
Unlike other tyre sealants, Stan's No Tubes Sealant is a very thin, low viscosity liquid that coats the inside of the tyre and carries with it specially formulated sealing crystals. The low viscous nature allows the sealant to quickly reach the puncture site and the crystals aid in sealing large holes, something that thicker or foaming style sealants cannot claim.
