Further protection comes via the TPU skin on the external face. This non-porous and flexible skin prevents rain from being absorbed into the surface of the overshoe. The underside of the overshoes feature a robust Kevlar material, extending around the toe and heel to prevent excessive wear when walking in the overshoes. The holes in the base for the cleats are shaped to fit snugly, minimising the amount of road spray entering the shoe from below. A durable, size 5, lockdown, YKK zip at the rear makes it easy to get them on and off.
