Hope are now offering their range of top and bottom cups available separately, allowing you to pick 'n' mix between the standards to suit your frame / fork combo. Each cup is CNC machined from 2014 T6 aluminium whilst Hope specify custom INA Swiss manufactured precision cartridge bearing races for durability and performance. Protection from the elements is achieved through an adjustable taper ring covers and integrated rubber seals, whilst the bearings also incorporate their own sealing and being made from stainless steel resist corrosion.

The BBT-5 / FR-11 may have a name that sounds like it is straight out of a sci-fi film but it is really a rather simple, yet essential piece of workshop equipment for anyone that owns Campagnolo components. Fitting 12-tooth internally splined Record, Chorus and Athena cartridge bottom brackets and Campagnolo cassette hub lockrings (including 11-speed lockrings) the BBT-5 / FR-11 is a dual purpose piece of kit. The oversized centre hole and thin wall design allows use without removal of cones and locknuts, saving precious riding time. The one-inch base fits the end of the Park SR-1 and FRW-1 tools or simply an adjustable wrench or bench vice.
The Park Tool BBT-9 Bottom Bracket and Crankarm Tool is used to remove and install 16-notch external bearing bottom bracket cups. One end of the BBT-9 securely engages the 16 notches of the bottom bracket cups, while the other end engages the 8 internal splines of the crank arm adjustment cap. This tool also fits Travativ Giga X-Pipes and Howitzer, Race Face X-type, SRAM and FSA Mega EXO bottom bracket cups.
