Featuring a leverless design for a clean look and added security, these super-tough thru-axles tighten up with 6mm Allen key heads. They're also compatible with the Brand-X switch lever (sold separately), which allows quick installation and removal of the thru-axle on the go, without having to carry a set of Allen keys with you. Unlike the standard bolt-thru axle, this version has an easy to use solid twist lever. There's no need to twist and back off to get a clamping mechanism working, simply twist the lever until your wheel is solidly locked in place. The lever sits on splines and can engaged/disengaged to set the lever in your desired position once tightened in place.
