Premium Materials The Aegis X 3.5 Wetsuit exceeds expectations with a construction that uses premium materials that improve buoyancy. With a superior panel system, and highly technological materials, the suit helps you glide through the water at speed – making it a great choice for open water swimmers and triathletes alike. X-O Skeleton™ Researched with HUUB Toussaint and Swim Smooth, the revolutionary X-O Skeleton is the spine and support structure of the suit. It improves your position in the water, holding the core of the swimmer straight and aligned, encouraging a more efficient swim stroke. Rotational Freedom™ The specialised Rotational Freedom panelling system, throughout the suit, also improves freedom of movement. Breakaway Zipper™ Speeding up transitions, the unique Breakaway Zipper design provides the quickest exit imaginable. 3mm Upper Body and 5mm Lower Body 85% of triathletes come to the sport from a non-swimming background and many suffer from low sinking legs in the water as they swim. Of course, the buoyancy of any wetsuit helps bring the legs up higher but never before have wetsuits been designed specifically for these swimmers with a large buoyancy difference between the upper and lower bodies.
Built to perform, the HUUB Agilis Brownlee Wetsuit has been in development for two years. The Brownlee brothers have worked directly alongside the HUUB designers, testers and developers every step of the way to ensure the final product was an unrivalled, best-in-class wetsuit. When setting out, the Brownlees had two simple goals in mind; to swim like they’re not wearing a wetsuit throughout the full stroke cycle and to get their hips and legs as high as possible and keep them there. From researching materials, stretch, swim strokes and tension, Arms Neutral™ technology has been developed to reduce the typical maximum stretch cycle down by 50%. This delivers exceptional Rotational Freedom™ so your stroking style feels completely natural and doesn't change when wearing a wetsuit. Thanks to HUUB's exclusive +43™ buoyancy foam, this wetsuit provides 43% more buoyancy than standard neoprene and gives incredible leg lift and buoyancy to the lower body. A breakaway zipper allows for the fast and easy transitions while a pressed neck edge ensures great comfort when worn. Perfect for race day, the HUUB Agilis Brownlee Wetsuit is the wetsuit all triathletes have been waiting for. “I can finally swim so naturally in a wetsuit” - ALI BROWNLEE “That suit is a game changer” - JONNY BROWNLEE
Designed with a 3:3 buoyancy combination and glide skin neoprene, the HUUB Alpha Atom Wetsuit works to improve your body positioning for maximum drag reduction so you can move quickly in the water. This comes from extensive research in the field, collaborations with the likes of the Brownlee Brothers alongside other fast triathletes and extensive scientific testing. Specific panel placements and 1.5mm underarm thickness allow you to flex and move with ease so you can perform at your best and make the most of every stroke, while speed cut ankles and smooth skin cuffs ensure a fast transition.
Designed with a 2:3 buoyancy combination and glide skin neoprene, the HUUB Amnis Wetsuit works to improve your body positioning for maximum drag reduction so you can move quickly in the water. Utilising the world-class local Derby Arena velodrome and the Sports engineering Hub wind tunnel in Northampton, the HUUB Anemoi 2 Plus 22 Tri Suit has been refined and tested on a broad range of athletes. Created with fully bonded seams for improved wind cheating performance this suit saved an average of 4 watts in the trails compared to the standard Anemoi Tri Suit. Designed with longer arms and legs to further improve the aero and time saving benefits alongside Arms Neutral™ positioning and two rear aero pockets for storage. Arms Neutral™ Set Sleeves HUUB created Arms Neutral to enhance the body position most held during your activity and is a feature originally derived from their wetsuits. The cycling kit sleeves are cut in an arms forward position, to create neutral fabric tension on the body in your most held position.
Following three years of research and development, the HUUB Anemoi 2 SUB22 Tri Suit redefines how you choose your race day clothing. The fabrics selected have been tested to ensure excellent drag reduction to make you faster and provide optimal performance. HUUB have selected the ideal fabric for the different speed ranges, meaning you have the quickest suit for your race speed and the SUB22 delivers optimal aerodynamics at speeds under 22mph. Featuring fully bonded seams to enhance comfort and aerodynamics, an Arms Neutral™ design for natural positioning and two rear aero pockets for storage. The standard, Dan Bigham designed Anemoi Aero Plus Tri Suit was created by first working to amass a large collection of race data from a variety of triathletes - short, middle and long course, male and female, and age group up to Olympic champions. This data was then used to dictate the direction of the design, knowing that a small change in the drag force experienced can result in an enhanced and much faster performance. Working to create turbulence only where it is needed and minimising skin friction everywhere else creates an energised boundary layer that can resist changes in curvature and shape around the body. Working through countless prototypes to discover the best fabrics, panel positioning, seam lines and much more, HUUB has managed to design an incredibly aerodynamic suit that works consistently for every rider. These design achievements have been pushed even further with the HUUB Anemoi+ Aero Suit thanks to the introduction of fully bonded seams. Progressing their developments to make you more streamlined and deliver more speed, this latest addition has been tried and tested and was found to make an average saving of 4-watts in comparison to the original suit.
The HUUB Anemoi Aero Tri Suit brings the science of aerodynamics and passion of triathletes together. The unique Dan Bigham design, with full Neoprene Trip Technology, promotes full flowing movement while the Arms Neutral element adds comfort during the swim. The arms and legs of the suit are lengthened to provide maximum aerodynamic benefit and the lightweight, quick-dry fabric results in an incredibly fast, performance-enhancing tri-suit. The future of the triathlon suit is changing. HUUB noticed this very early on and have decided that the only way to create something great is to rewrite the rule book and change expectations. They knew this couldn’t be done alone, so HUUB brought on an ex Mercedes-AMG Petronas aerodynamic performance engineer going by the name of Dan Bigham. Dan combines his extensive knowledge of aerodynamics to understand what makes a triathlete faster. In addition to this, he’s also an athlete himself. Dan isn’t just about data; he is also passionate about usability and function. As Dan is a national cycling champion and triathlete, he has helped HUUB athletes Alistair Brownlee and David McNamee go faster, not only through positioning and equipment choices but also with the help of the ground-breaking Anemoi Aero Tri Suit. Anemoi Watts & Time Saving Ironman distance: @ 22mph = 7.5W - 350 seconds (just under 6 minutes) Ironman distance: @ 18mph = 4W - 414 seconds (just under 7 minutes) Olympic distance: @ 24mph =9.8W -71seconds Olympic distance: @ 20mph =5.7W -83seconds The Anemoi was compared to the top-selling DS Long Course Tri Suit. Tests were done at a velocity range from 35kph to 55kph on seven different athletes (including Ali Brownlee, David McNamee, Harry Wiltshire and Dan Bigham). Aero benefits can and do vary across riders because of their body shape and position (in the region of ~30% variation), but 15w is an average, seen across every size, shape and speed of the rider.
