The HUUB Anemoi Aero Tri Suit brings the science of aerodynamics and passion of triathletes together. The unique Dan Bigham design, with full Neoprene Trip Technology, promotes full flowing movement while the Arms Neutral element adds comfort during the swim. The arms and legs of the suit are lengthened to provide maximum aerodynamic benefit and the lightweight, quick-dry fabric results in an incredibly fast, performance-enhancing tri-suit. The future of the triathlon suit is changing. HUUB noticed this very early on and have decided that the only way to create something great is to rewrite the rule book and change expectations. They knew this couldn’t be done alone, so HUUB brought on an ex Mercedes-AMG Petronas aerodynamic performance engineer going by the name of Dan Bigham. Dan combines his extensive knowledge of aerodynamics to understand what makes a triathlete faster. In addition to this, he’s also an athlete himself. Dan isn’t just about data; he is also passionate about usability and function. As Dan is a national cycling champion and triathlete, he has helped HUUB athletes Alistair Brownlee and David McNamee go faster, not only through positioning and equipment choices but also with the help of the ground-breaking Anemoi Aero Tri Suit. Anemoi Watts & Time Saving Ironman distance: @ 22mph = 7.5W - 350 seconds (just under 6 minutes) Ironman distance: @ 18mph = 4W - 414 seconds (just under 7 minutes) Olympic distance: @ 24mph =9.8W -71seconds Olympic distance: @ 20mph =5.7W -83seconds The Anemoi was compared to the top-selling DS Long Course Tri Suit. Tests were done at a velocity range from 35kph to 55kph on seven different athletes (including Ali Brownlee, David McNamee, Harry Wiltshire and Dan Bigham). Aero benefits can and do vary across riders because of their body shape and position (in the region of ~30% variation), but 15w is an average, seen across every size, shape and speed of the rider.
The Commit Long Course Tri Suit is made with a lightweight and breathable nylon-lycra fabric which is incredibly fast drying – ensuring long-lasting comfort. Promoting aero performance and sun protection the suit features long elbow sleeves with comfortable flat seams and cuffs. Stabilising the fit, the suit features soft-grip silicone straps at the leg ends. The suit is formed to perform with a men’s specific fit that is incredibly form-fitting.
The Advance Wetsuit has long been recognised as the undisputed best entry-level wetsuit on the market. After winning the Best on Test award, 220 Triathlon Magazine commented: The Advance wouldn t feel out of place against many of the mid-range products available at twice the price and that it was a brilliant all-rounder that comes at a great price . Brand New 1.5mm Yamamoto #39 SCS Free-Flex shoulder panel design provides high levels of flexibility, comfort and efficiency with each stroke. 16% weight reduction versus the 2020 model whilst still maintaining the same levels of buoyancy and warmth. 10 different materials used to ensure maximum performance, comfort and durability whilst still maintaining a low price point. No nylon panels or external flatlock stitching to prevent water entry and improve speed and comfort. AQUA-X coatings used to minimise drag and increase speed through the water. Smoothskin fabric used to prevent water from permeating the suit and weighing it down. 4mm core support buoyancy panels on the upper legs help to keep the legs towards the surface of the water and therefore significantly reducing drag and fatigue. High Visibility prints to help stand-out when in the water Slimline Pro-Speed cuffs offer superior removal speedLaser Precision collar provides a comfortable soft-close fit around the neckRaglan sleeve panel layout offers increased flexibility to allow for greater stroke efficiencyEco-Friendly Neoprene is derived from naturally occurring limestone and utilizes scrap rubber tyres as part of the production process to significantly reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The majority of neoprene production waste is recycled back into the suits, helping to minimise landfill waste and help protect the environment we train in.Building upon these already lofty foundation blocks, the latest edition of the Advance takes another huge step forward. Most notably, it now features the world s highest-performing YAMAMOTO neoprene rubber. Still maintaining its modest price tag, the Advance wetsuit is the perfect choice for beginner or intermediate swimmers looking for a comfortable and performance-focused wetsuit for training, racing or simply exploring the open water. Benefits of a wetsuit featuring Yamamoto material: Speed: The aqua dynamic 'SCS' Nano coating applied to the neoprene creates almost zero drag through the water. A drag coefficient of just 0.021 compared with 4.0 for regular neoprene wetsuits. The SCS coating also prevents the suit from absorbing water, therefore avoiding excess weight in the wetsuit. Flexibility: A massive 480-580% in elongation, compared with human skin (underarm) which is just 60-70%. Superior flexibility and comfort with an expansion of 7x conventional wetsuit materials. Warmth: High heat retention: Keeping the body warmer in colder waters to help reduce body fatigue and improve performance. Eco: The neoprene is also derived from limestone opposed to petroleum which is more environmentally friendly.

The product benefits from HUUB’s latest aerodynamic research, and tweaks have been made to improve the overall aero performance of the range including upper arm aero fabric. The suit also features aerodynamic rear pockets that are large enough to contain nutrition and race essentials. The contoured chamois pad has been developed over years and provides cushioning where needed whilst in the TT position, yet is still minimal so that you are not encumbered when running. The suit has a performance fit which adds to the aerodynamic qualities of the suit, with folded back silicone grippers to keep the suit in place.
Using the Dave Scott Long Course Triathlon Suit as a benchmark, the starting point for the HUUB Anemoi Aero Suit was to amass a large collection of race data from a variety of triathletes - short, middle and long course, male and female, and age group up to Olympic champions. This data was then used to dictate the direction of the design, knowing that a small change in the drag force experienced can result in an enhanced and much faster performance. Working to create turbulence only where it is needed and minimising skin friction everywhere else creates an energised boundary layer that can resist changes in curvature and shape around the body. Working through countless prototypes to discover the best fabrics, panel positioning, seam lines and much more, HUUB has managed to design an incredibly aerodynamic suit that works consistently for every rider.
