Sure you can decide to buck the status quo or you could just huck it. We chose the latter with the all-new Status 140. The result? Not just a new bike but an entirely new platform that’s changed our whole understanding of what a do-it-all bike can actually do. But what’s with the different-sized wheels? So glad you asked.Take the smaller wheelbase and shorter chainstays made possible by having a 27.5-inch rear wheel and pair them with the increased traction and rolling speed made possible by a 29-inch wheel up front and you've got a bike that’s ready to throw down. Or think of it as the ability to flick right but plow left into a tech-y switchback straight-line it through that longer-than-you-thought stretch of chunder without breaking a sweat and throw down some serious flair on your local flow trail all in one nice tight package. The Status 140 also adopts our Style-Specific Sizing that not only lets you find the right fit but also get your desired reach and wheelbase to really let your preferred handling characteristics come alive. Focused on fun and featuring our Mixed-Wheel Trail Geometry the Status frameset is a fewer frills all thrills FSR delivery system crafted from our hard-charging—and hard-wearing—M5 alloy and is designed not only to take a hit but keep asking for more. The Status 160 may be an all-new bike but it’s really an all-new way of thinking about how to have the most fun possible on two wheels—even if that means they’re different sizes. A 29-inch wheel offers up maximum cornering traction and roll-over capability in front while a 27.5 inch wheel out back brings with it shorter chainstays—and the party. Paired together with our playful Mixed Wheel-Size Trail Geometry the result is capital-F fun. Park-stomping trail-slashing getting-jibby-with-it fun. We rounded out the Status 160’s fun-first frame with everything you need to keep the party going—big brakes an X-Fusion Manic dropper post and Fox’s FLOAT 36 Rhthym Fork paired with a FLOAT X Performance shock all brought together by the active planted feel of our FSR suspension platform. The Torch 2.0 Road shoes are all about comfort—well comfort and performance that is. Due to the materials road shoes often feel stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to address this annoyance head on though. To do so we've implemented a 100% mesh and TPU construction on the Torch 2.0 that allows for more wiggle room in the toe box and a less constrictive sock-like feel. The upper is then paired with our medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel and toe that provide the perfect degree of off-the-bike traction. For the closure we added a single lightweight Boa® IP1 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability while also providing simple on-the-fly micro-adjustments. Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power increase efficiency and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip knee and foot alignment. Carbon sole with a 7.0 Stiffness Index is engineered to be moderately stiff yet light with a rubber heel and toe for off-the-bike traction. Lightweight Boa® IP1 dial closure for on-the-fly micro-adjustment backed by the Boa® Lifetime Guarantee. Mesh and TPU upper for a supple fit. Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. Approximate weight: 235g (1/2 pair Size 42)

Every aspect of the Zero Aero pedal design has been painstakingly tailored to boost speed by minimising wind drag. Developed specifically for Time Trials and Triathlons where every second counts, the Zero Aero Pedal System provides more speed with the same power. Aerodynamic Due to its aerodynamic advantage, the Zero Aero Pedal System was chosen by Bradley Wiggins to set the UCI World Hour Record of 54.526 km on June 7, 2015, at the Lee Valley Olympic Velodrome in London. The average speed of the historic ride was 33.88 mph. Considered the holy grail of cycling achievements, the Hour Record is an honour earned by the cyclist who covers the greatest distance in kilometers in one hour. Large, stable cycling platform The Zero Aero Pedal System provides the same solid connection as conventional single-sided pedals, but with Speedplay's unique, inverted design the cleat provides the platform once the cleat is engaged. Quality without compromise Zero Aero pedals use precision cartridge and needle bearings - three of them instead of two found in most other pedals - which allows the Zero Aero to be thinner for a lower stack height, better cornering clearance, and reduced aerodynamic drag. Like all Speedplay Pedal Systems, the locking edges of Zero Aero pedals and cleats are metal-on-metal for durability and safety, unlike their competitors who use engagement edges made of plastic. Foot adjustments No other pedal system offers the precise adjustment or convenience of independently adjustable fore-aft, side-to-side, and rotational foot positions. Unlike the inexact set-up of traditional cleats, each of the three critical foot-axis adjustments of Zero Aero Walkable™ Cleats can be set or changed without affecting the position of the other two adjustments. This feature also eliminates guesswork and misalignment when replacing cleats.
Speedplay Zero Stainless Road Bike PedalsWhether you’re an aspiring road racer or a seasoned endurance rider, you’ll love the support, comfort and ease of use that the Zero Stainless Road Bike Pedals offer you. The high comfort level they offer is thanks to their 0-15° of cleat float adjustment, which you can accurately adjust to suit your preference. With this amount of adjustability, you’ll be able to enjoy long rides with less knee discomfort, as your legs will be able to find their natural range of motion. Speedplay has also made these pedals to be lightweight yet also durable and strong, giving you mile after mile of smooth operation and efficient power transfer.Pedals with Dual-Sided EntryAnother invaluable feature is the dual-sided entry, which means you can just step down on the pedal and go. No more fumbling or looking down to get into the right position, as the cleat’s design and pedal’s shape ensure that you’ll engage quickly and safely without having to stop and think.Adjustable Foot Position and Float AmountUnlike traditional cleats, each of the essential foot positioning adjustments can be changed without affecting each other. The cleat's three-way adjustment ensures you can set up its front/rear and side-to-side positions individually and then choose how much float you want on the pedals. These unique adjustment settings significantly increase comfort and efficiency while dramatically reducing knee strain and fatigue.High-Grip Pedal Cleat CoversThese Zero pedals come with Speedplay's rubberised cleats, which make those off the bike periods less dangerous if your bike's mechanical problem forces an extended walk on the tarmac, or if you feel the need for a coffee stop.Features: Material: Body: Grivory; Spindle: Stainless-Steel Cleat Type: Look three-bolt road cleats Cleats Included: Yes Cleat Tension: Standard tension cleats included Axle Diameter: Standard 9/16" thread Bearing Type: Triple sealed cartridge and needle bearings Release Angle: Micro-adjustable from 0° to 7.5° Pedal Float: Adjustable from 0° to 15° Cleat Forward/backward Adjustability: Up to 13mm Cleat Left/Right Adjustability: Up to 8mm Walkable Cleats: Yes (adaptor included) Stack Height: 11.5mm (3 hole) 8.5mm (4 hole) Pedal Dimensions: 99x50x50mm / 3.9" x 2" x 2" (each) The Zero cleat positions your foot closer to the top of the spindle for improved power transfer The thin pedal profile of the Zero pedal lets you power through corners where your rivals coast - 39° The Zero cleat fits any shoe with a three-hole or four-hole mount Built-in grease port for easy bearing lubrication Walkable cleats included Phenomenally low weight Weight: 222g (pair)Technologies: Large, Stable Pedalling Platform: The Zero pedal system provides the same solid connection as conventional single-sided pedals, but with Speedplay's unique, inverted design the cleat provides the platform once the cleat is engaged Quality Without Compromise: Zero pedals use precision cartridge and needle bearings - three of them instead of the two that are found in most other pedals.
