We had so much fun testing the first version of the Supergiara Jersey that we decided it was definitely time to design the second. Even just to have an excuse to leave the office again and wear it at the Belgian Waffle Ride or the Atlas Mountain Race. A new, cleaner and fresher design. Fresh also because the three-dimensional DR fabric that it’s made of features a texture that increases breathability, as well as being stretchy and comfortable. In an endurance event, you’ll forget you’re wearing it.|We’ve added more reflective elements: we’ve put them everywhere, because we know how important it is to be visible at night. Elements on the back, on the shoulders, and on the sides. Visible from every angle.|But then there’s the highlight. We’ve doubled the pockets. When we started this project, we had a clear goal: to create a short to complete the perfect outfit for rainy summer days. The result was the Fiandre Light Bibshort, a short in lightweight water-repellent fabric with a single seam. We used a lighter-weight fabric so the short is not excessively hot, and the water-repellent properties are enhanced by the construction. We added our existing expertise on the structure of the bib straps and the raw-cut leg endings, and our best seat pad for racing, the Bodyfit Pro. The result is a short that you can use in the spring or fall or if it’s not extremely hot and that will become your best ally in the event of thunderstorms or passing showers. Or for a summer ride in the rain. We like those too, and if you live in the Dolomites like we do, you always need to be ready for a sudden storm. WHO IS IT FOR?
