It's compatible with 1x10, 1x11 or 1x12 speed drivetrains and has a hard anodised finish, which provides lasting durability in all conditions. Specifically designed for use with Hope's own cranksets, this Hope Oval Retainer Ring opens up a wide range of tooth count options compared to the standard 4-bolt type. Its specifically tuned 12% ovality helps to smooth out your pedalling action and make those extended climbs to the top of the trails less painful. Also, when you're on the way back down again, you'll enjoy excellent chain retention thanks to its narrow/wide tooth profile. When used along with a clutch style rear mech, you don't need a chainguide, so overall weight is reduced and your drivetrain runs quieter and with less drag. When you want to bike further or longer, or just take a bit more gear, mount an extra Spider Cradle to your Spider Rear Rack. Your Spider Rear Rack will come with one Cradle, however, you can an additional 2 cradles (max 3 on the one rack) to effortlessly take up to 16kg of gear. The additional Cradle(s) can be mounted vertically or horizontally and rotated up to 90 degrees to suit any heel and post dropper clearance (as well as any bike).
