The Torch 2.0 Road shoes are all about comfort—well comfort and performance that is. Due to the materials road shoes often feel stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to address this annoyance head on though. To do so we've implemented a 100% mesh and TPU construction on the Torch 2.0 that allows for more wiggle room in the toe box and a less constrictive sock-like feel. The upper is then paired with our medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel and toe that provide the perfect degree of off-the-bike traction. The Youth Flex Suit offers customisable shoulder protection with the option to carry a water bladder in place of the spine protector. All the pockets you need on the trails in easy access positions and a compression fit that fits under a jersey. Two angled pockets on each hip mean easy access to trails snacks, multi-tools and a mobile phone. The larger central pocket is designed for larger items like a spare tube or a small packable jacket. 4-way stretch fabric means air is kept flowing to avoid overheating, with the compression fit sitting close to the skin making heat transfer as efficient as possible maintaining comfortable all day. The shoulder pads and spine protector can both be removed.
The Echo 75 pads use a perforated neoprene with a durable Cordura and Duratex outer layer and comfortable air plush inner lining. To protect your knees from impact we use SAS-TEC, soft and flexible Visoelastic foam for superior comfort but also extreme impact absorption. The shin section uses a hard plastic shield with a soft dual layer foam backing. This year we also added Sharkskin neoprene on the inside of the pad, acting as a gripper to keep the pad from slipping when wet. The Echo pads also feature redesigned adjustable straps for a perfect fit.
