GLUTTONY – HABITUAL GREED OR EXCESS.As riders, we are all guilty of the gluttonous sin; we never stop striving, never stop pushing, enough is never enough in the hunt for the ultimate. It’s a constant push for bigger, longer, rougher and faster with ever increasing demands on the performance and capabilities of our bike. The pursuit is endless. It’s a motto that athletes like Sam Hill live by. The new?Nukeproof?Giga is the embodiment of this idea; Designed to be the ultimate hard-hitting Super-Enduro weapon for when you just need more.???The Giga is a seriously capable machine, with 180mm (27.5”) or 170mm (29”) rear travel; the Giga is a monster truck of a bike that has travel in reserve for when you need it. But to pigeonhole it as a point and shoot machine would be a disservice as it is so much more capable than this might suggest! Due to the way that it uses its travel; the Giga gives you the feel of a big bike, yet the versatility of a modern super-enduro?bike. The Giga has a dynamic and confidence inspiring ride to help you push your limits in all kinds of terrain. It’s equally at home at big mountain technical enduro stages of venues like La Thuile, as it is lapping the biggest lines in the Whistler bike park. ?The suspension is designed to be super supple off the top, whilst being supportive in the mid stroke and progressive throughout the rest of the travel. The anti-squat is optimised to ensure the Giga descends like a hooligan yet behaves itself on the climb back to the top for the next run.The suspension platform is based on the?same horseshoe driven linkage?as our award-winning Dissent downhill frame, albeit now with a 2-stage main pivot flip chip. Using an eccentric axle system, riders can?alter the Kinematic progressivity;?so?the bike can be tailored to suit the conditions?on the trail with only an 8mm?allen?key.Setting 1 = 25.5% progression?,Setting 2 = 29% progression.?.Both settings have a super supple beginning for small bump compliance. They also both have good mid-stroke support for better cornering and pumping. Like the Dissent, the progression drops off in the end stroke to prevent mid-stroke harshness or spiking and allows more tuning options with volume spacers.?The + Progressive setting can be used to add shock progression on a coil set up just like adding a volume spacer to an air shock. The added suppleness is also good in wet and slippery conditions.?The Giga Frame is constructed completely from UD 700/800 Carbon fibre. This allowed us to optimise the stiffness and compliance of the frame parts individually. The front triangle has been tailored for stability and precision, whilst the rear triangle was designed for compliance to help tracking and provide grip. Another bonus of the carbon rear triangle is that it has a lower un-sprung mass for ultimate suspension performance.Available in 5 sizes (Small to XXL) in either 27.5” or 29” wheel size, there is the perfect fit for everyone. The frame geometry is Long, Low, Slack and Steep as it is based around our saddle offset principle, which ensures the seated riding position is tailored across all sizes, with steeper seat angles on bigger frames. The Seat tube is also designed for maximum seat post insertion to allow maximum drop. The Giga is also sculptured to fit a 750ml water bottle (carbon bottle cage included) as well as an accessory mount under the top tube for emergency trail tools. All models also feature an integrated rear mud guard and plenty of clearance for up to 2.5” tyres. The frames feature a clear paint protection kit as standard with 3D contoured rubber downtube, seat and chain stay protection. The Nukeproof GIGA: Gluttony is not a sin.Features:Super Enduro Bike,Nukeproof T700/800 UD woven Carbon Fibre frame,170mm Rear travel,Comes with 3D Contoured rubber protection and clear paint protection kits,Sizes Available: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, XXL.

This 297-wheel setup gives a superb balance of stability, pace and agility for fast trail sections and technical terrain. This stylish, affordable and reliable enduro race bike offers reliability, efficiency and power to ride trails anywhere on Earth.SHIMANO DEORE 12-SPEED GROUPSET AND HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKESThis fun and versatile full-suspension enduro bike is equipped with a Shimano Deore 1x12-Speed groupset, giving you a wide gear range for climbing steep hills while powerful hydraulic disc brakes help control your momentum when descending. It also rolls upon stable and dependable Sun-Ringle Duroc SD37 wheels wrapped in fast rolling, Tubeless Ready Wide Trail Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR tyres. And it is fitted with a Brand X Ascend internally routed dropper seatpost.THE MEGAV4: BORN THROUGH EVOLUTION, NOT REVOLUTION.For over 10 years, Nukeproof's best-selling model, the Mega has been racking up awards on Enduro stages and in the press around the world. With 4 Enduro World Series titles to its name, the Mega has become an icon that is synonymous with racing. However, they never rest on their laurels with the introduction of the 4th generation Mega - Now available in an all-new mixed wheel size platform.WORLD CLASS ENDURO RACE BIKESince 2009 the Nukeproof Mega has been constant path of development to meet the evolving demands of our riders and customers alike. The Nukeproof team are relentlessly striving for improvements and with each generation the Mega has been chiselled and shaped into today’s thoroughbred Enduro race bike. With the launch of the Mega 290 Comp, you could forgive their designers for resting on their laurels. However, as Nukeproof products are developed between the tapes, there is a constant desire to hone and refine to give Nukeproof’s athletes and riders the best possible chance of standing on top of the podium. The Mega V4 is now available for 27.5”, 29” or new Mixed (Front 29”/Rear 27.5” wheel sizes) wheel set ups, with each frame design tailored around each wheel size. The new mixed platform uses a 29” wheel up front to maximise grip and rolling efficiency whilst the 27.5” wheel out back, ensures nimble handling for manoeuvrability.Designed as an evolution of the ultimate Enduro bike, the Mega V4 has been fully reimagined for to offer optimised sizing/fit, improved Geometry and suspension kinematics on a brand-new custom triple butted hydro-formed alloy frame. Most importantly you can now fit a water bottle inside the main front triangle.LONG-TRAVEL FULL SUSPENSION ALLOY FRAMEThe Alloy Mega features a full custom triple butted hydro-formed 6061-T6 Aluminium tube set and forged parts. It is available for 27.5”, 297 or 29” wheel sizes. These are totally different, compromise free frames that were designed and developed at the same time. Each frame is simply tailored around each wheel size so that you can get the most out of every ride.UPDATED SIZING AND GEOMETRYWhilst humans may not have changed size much in recent years; the bikes they choose to ride most certainly have. To ensure a perfectly dialled fit Nukeproof now offer the 297 bikes in S, M, or L sizes and the 290 bikes in M, L, XL or XXL.Lower, longer, steeper and slacker. The Mega geometry is designed around the saddle offset for each size to optimise seated weight distribution. This results in steeper seat angles across the board but especially on larger sizes for taller riders. This in turn results in longer reach figures to ensure a comfortable cockpit on each size. To further aid the perfect fit Nukeproof have also used shorter seat tubes which are designed to maximise seat post insertion depths. Finally, all Mega bikes are now designed to use short offset forks to further improve both climbing and descending capabilities.PROGRESSIVE AND SUPPORTIVE SUSPENSION PLATFORMTo step-change the Mega’s suspension design Nukeproof went back to the drawing board and started afresh. They have redesigned the Mega 4 bar horst linkage to be super supple over small bumps, progressive and supportive throughout the mid stroke for support when pedalling, cornering and pumping, with increased end stroke leverage to allow more tuning options with volume spacers. The kinematic is designed to have higher levels of anti-squat for climbing gears but this reduces as you drop down the cassette. The result is a bike that is more confidence inspiring everywhere on the hill. It behaves itself on the climbs yet can still be thrashed through the roughest and most technical terrain on the way back down.
