The versatile Campagnolo Shamal C21 road bike wheelset uses a differentiated front/rear profile to ensure that you stay comfortable on longer rides without ever sacrificing performance. Its 40mm profile at the rear guarantees maximum responsiveness, while its 35mm at the front provides the best possible rideability in all conditions. An icon for the enthusiasts, this wheelset maintains its blazing, indefatigable soul, like the wind from which it takes its name. The first Campagnolo wheel dedicated to endurance was born in keeping with this mantra, with a 21mm internal channel that can accommodate larger tyres and ensure the cyclist maximum comfort on races and long rides. The updated Campagnolo Shamal C21 Disc Carbon Wheelset guarantees the maximum performance and style that characterise Campagnolo wheels. The carbon fibre rims have a unidirectional finish and a differentiated front/rear profile, plus there are updated aluminium hubs with a cup-and-cone bearing system. Every design decision is determined by the sole goal of improving cyclists’ performance over long hours on the saddle, providing comfort and rideability in all conditions. 21mm Carbon Fibre Disc Brake Wheelset The profile of the rim, which has an internal diameter of 21mm, makes for a perfect pairing with 25, 28 and 30mm tyres. The wide channel, however, makes this wheel a complete all-rounder, also suitable for larger tyres that are perfect for gravel riding. Thanks to 2-Way Fit technology, Campagnolo guarantees complete compatibility with both clincher and tubeless tyres. The hole-free upper bridge, achieved through the patented MoMag system, allows a weight saving, increased rigidity and it's also an aid to using tubeless tyres: no tape is required for the seal. Maintaining and cleaning the wheel on tyre changes has never been easier. G3 Spoke Pattern These wheels are designed to ensure extreme performance, comfort and versatility for cyclists. Campagnolo has always been a byword for reliability: the G3 spoking system with double spokes on the left of the front wheel ensures balanced and safe braking in all conditions. Born as the very first complete wheelset with each component in its build being specifically designed as a complete unit to ensure unparalleled efficiency and performance the Shamal continued to introduce new technologies that would change the way aluminum performance wheels were produced. So advanced was the Shamal in its early stages that it was found also in World Tour competition often and to this day is still perhaps the most race ready aluminum wheelset available.
The Campagnolo Shamal Ultra C17 is the very first complete wheelset with each component in its build being specifically designed as a complete unit to ensure unparalleled efficiency and performance. This model has continued to introduce new technologies that would change the way aluminium performance wheels were produced. So advanced was the Shamal in its early stages, that it was found also in World Tour competition often and to this day is still perhaps the most race-ready aluminium wheelset available. The modern Campagnolo Shamal Ultra C17 Clincher includes all of the aforementioned technologies and represents years of solid research and development that culminates in the updated version of this prestigious line of wheels. This wider profile meets the C17 standard and is perfect for use with the increasingly popular tyre sizes. The updated Shamal was studied specifically to increase compatibility with 25 and 28mm road tyres. This rim/tyre interface proves to be more aerodynamic when compared to the same size tyres mated to a C15 rim. The C17 also allows for a more surefooted grip on the road in addition to increased comfort while increasing rigidity and thus reactivity at the same time thanks to its wider stance and optimised material usage. The advanced Shamal Ultra C17 represents the same fantastic performance that has made it THE go-to aluminium race wheel for the better part of two decades while adding more versatility and performance. Technologies: MoMag™ "Mounting Magnet" System: No holes on the rim means that the rim is uniform at every point, free from stress points or zones of weakness and, for the clincher profiles no rim tape is required, reducing the overall weight. The advantages are immediately clear: greater rim lifetime, greater resistance to fatigue, the possibility to give the spokes greater tension, and greater stiffness which, in terms of performance, mean greater reactivity and acceleration. But that’s not all. The advantages also include extremely quick and simple maintenance and spoke replacement. All to the benefit of cyclists who choose Campagnolo®. G3 Spoke System: When compared to a traditional wheel, Campagnolo’s G3 assembly architecture improves energy transfer, reduces the stress on the spokes, and increases lateral rigidity. G3 refers to groups of three parallel straight-pull spokes, which are arranged in a 2:1 ratio, so one side of the wheel has twice as many spokes as the other.

With its new design as well as a plethora of useful and innovative new technologies, this small component improves the EPS experience in a big way. Improved integration, facilitated and nofuss charging, improved led diagnostics and wireless technology that allows for increased interaction with the groupset are just a few of the improvements housed in its tiny structure. Enclosed and protected in the Power Unit and interface, ""Digital Tech Intelligence"" transmits, receives and processes data thousands of times a second. An electronic brain which instantaneously synchronises all the functions requested by the rider. With just a simple click of the controls, D.T.I transmits the corresponding signal instantly, accurately and reliably to the rear or front derailleur, for levels of performance and control feel never experienced before with a conventional drivetrain. But as well as all this, the D.T.I. system also monitors the entire drivetrain and each of its components, continuously checking battery level and functionality, and checking that the rear and front derailleur are working correctly. The procedures to reset the rear derailleur and derailleur to zero are essential for the system to function. These procedures allow the system to learn the reference positions of the chain on the sprockets and chainrings, which will be used to calculate the positions that need to be used in all operating conditions. During the resetting to zero phase the movements of the rear derailleur and derailleur occur continuously, and not through set movements as during adjustment, and they depend on the pressure time of levers 2 and 3. The client can adjust the reference position of the rear derailleur and/or derailleur using the adjustment procedure known as Riding Setting. The adjustment of the rear derailleur is designed especially in case you change the wheel for one with a set of sprockets that are positioned differently with respect to the drop out.It is possible to start the procedure for either the rear derailleur or the derailleur from any chainring. Every time either keys 2 or 3 is pressed, the system performs a set displacement of 0.25 mm if you act on the rear derailleur, and approximately 0.1 mm if you act on the derailleur. When you have completed the adjustment phase, the system will correct the established positions of all chainrings based on the new settings. The EPS system is capable of automatically detecting a whole range of malfunctions. If a malfunction is detected, the EPS system turns on an RGB led located on the power unit. Depending on the area where the malfunction has been detected the led takes on different colours, as per the table below. Being that in some situations the cause of the malfunction making the led light up on the power unit may be temporary, a number of operations are recommended to the end user depending on the colour of the light that appears on the PowerUnit."

Wherever you're riding, these ultra-efficient road bike wheels are a serious upgrade that can get you there quicker and safer. Technologies: RDB (Rim Dynamic Balance): The concept is simple and elegant: balance the weight of the gasket, with an item of similar weight placed on the exact opposite side. For top models, this is obtained by a special operation on the section of the rim opposite the rim joint. MoMag™ "Mounting Magnet" System: No holes on the rim means that the rim is uniform at every point, free from stress points or zones of weakness and, for the clincher profiles no rim tape is required, to the benefit of weight reduction. The advantages are immediately clear: greater rim lifetime, greater resistance to fatigue, the possibility to give the spokes greater tension, and greater stiffness which, in terms of performance, mean greater reactivity and acceleration. The completely redesigned rim for the Campagnolo Zonda C17 road wheels takes its design inspiration from the growing trend that sees the use of increasingly wider tyres, with 25mm clinchers becoming the standard if not the new minimum sizing for road riding and racing. With this increased popularity of both 25mm and 28mm tyres, the wheel needs to be designed in a way to optimise the tyre/wheel interface. The updated wider rim on the Campagnolo Zonda C17 wheelset ensures a more efficient shape of the tyre, improving cornering grip and safety while reducing aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance. This seemingly small increase in width offers a surprisingly different riding experience, one that is sure to leave any cyclist pleasantly convinced that this change is for the best. The C17 rim has also been structurally optimised and ensures a surefooted grip on clincher tyres, as well as even better braking, feel when compared with previous versions.
The Campagnolo Zonda Road Disc Wheelset features a new asymmetrical milled rim profile to reduce peripheral weight and increase the wheel's reactivity. This reactivity and energy transfer is increased further with the use of the Mega G3 spoke system. The Mega G3 system ensures wheel stiffness by reinforcing the front braking side and rear cassette side to give the Campagnolo Zonda Road Disc Wheelset a complete race design. The Campagnolo Zonda Road Disc Wheelset has been meticulously thought out. Featuring RDB, Rim Dynamic Balance, the weight of the valve is balanced with an item of similar weight and placed exactly opposite to produce a truly balanced roll. Featuring stainless steel spokes, black anodized nipples and cup and cone bearings the Campagnolo Zonda Road Disc Wheelset is very simple to maintain and adjust. If you're looking for excellent value and incredible performance at a low price point, the Campagnolo Zonda Road Disc Wheelset should be top of your list.
