Studies have shown that most common bike servicing and setting up tasks can be carried out using a 4 and 5mm hex wrench along with a T25 Torx wrench which is why Park Tool have brought these tools together to make the AWS7C wrench set. Made from heat-treated Bondhus Protanium high torque steel the wrench set features excellent ergonomics and effective leverage as the composite centre fits perfectly in the palm of the hand. The Park Tool FFG2 Frame And Fork End Alignment Gauge Set helps to eliminate improperly aligned frame and fork dropouts. Such issues can cause bent axles and quick release skewers, as well as tracking and shifting problems. The updated FFG-2 quickly determines whether dropouts are aligned and parallel. If an error is detected, long handles and comfortable molded grips afford plenty of leverage for straightening. Works on frames and forks with dropout spacing up to 160mm.
The Park Tool HTR1 Head Tube Reaming and Facing Set allows for proper frame preparation. The HTR1 combines reaming and facing of the head tube to create a perfect fit for most sizes of head cups. The HTR1 comes complete with a 30.0mm reamer, and four different size pilots, (29.8mm, 30.0mm, 33.8mm, and 36.8mm). There are cases when a reamer is required to clean out or increase the diameter of the head tube. Most times however, facing of the head tube for good cup fit is the objective. In this case, reaming is not necessary and the pilots can be used in place of the reamers to keep the tool straight and create a faced head tube. The unique part of the HTR1 is the quick-release, quick adjust feature. The bottom portion can slide off and on easily without the long threading process. This portion of the tool can still be fine tuned while in use. The tapered centering cone unit rides on a bearing for extra smooth operation. All cutting surfaces are top quality and extra sharp.
