Its expander bung replaces the traditional "star nut" design for a safer hold with more even clamping force inside your fork’s steerer tube.When you install it, two aluminium wedges simply pull together and expand inside any 1.1/8 steerer giving you a solid thread to pull the stem down. Sounds simple?
