Tubeless Technology Friction between the tyre and tube is now a thing of the past. This crucially reduces the rolling resistance. It is even smaller than with super light competition tyres. With tubeless, you can ride with less air pressure without restrictions to performance! This brings noticeable advantages in comfort, but also significantly more control in critical situations and on poor routes. Tubeless systems provide very high puncture protection. Sudden air loss due to bursting tubes or valves tearing is ruled out. At the same time puncture protection fluid seals incisions within a tenth of a second, during the ride. E-Bike Ready 25 Tyres with this certification feature the best technologies for use with E-Bikes. They meet and excel past the ECE-R75 certification, meaning they are valid for use throughout Europe.
Off-road: Riding at lower pressure means better performance ... but at the same time, it increases the risk of failures. The limit so far is at about 20 psi, below which it’s hardly possible to dare to ride normal MTB tyres. But nothing stays the same: In the future, air pressure can be controlled in the tyre‘s double chambers. In the outer chamber, the air pressure is extremely low - ideal for maximum off-road performance. In the inner chamber, directly on the rim, there is high air pressure – even a very strong impact cannot dent the rim edge. At the same time, the inner high-pressure system secures the tyre onto the rim. “Burping”, the dreaded loss of air at low pressure in conventional tubeless systems, is impossible. The Name PROCORE is derived from "Progressive Core". The core (internal high-pressure chamber) progressively absorbs even the hardest impacts. Compatibility You can mount Procore with any tubeless compatible MTB tyre. The system is available for all three MTB wheel sizes (26", 27.5", 29"). Weight approx. 200g per wheel. Compatible with all wheels, independent of the brand. Minimum inner rim width: 23mm. PROCORE is a joint development of SCHWALBE and SYNTACE. PROCORE - the outer chamber The outer chamber is tubeless. Therefore, any tubeless compatible MTB tyres can be used. The tyre is filled with some liquid sealant (approx. 60ml) and should be at least 57mm (2.25") wide. PROCORE - the inner chamber Two special Procore components form the inner high-pressure chamber: the special Procore tube and the Procore inner tyre. This "core" is extremely high-pressure stable and at the same time very light. The Rim Of course, the rim must be tubeless compatible and sealed with a tubeless rim band. It should have an inner rim width of at least 23mm. The wider the rim, the easier the installation and the better the performance under low air pressure. The very wide Syntace rims are a perfect fit. The PROCORE Valve The patented dual valve of the Procore tube distributes the air into both chambers. The upper part of the valve is a selector. With a simple turn, you select whether air is pumped into the inner or the outer chamber. (Valve sold separately). The PROCORE Air Guide The small red component made of white plastic ensures that the air can flow past the inner high pressure chamber into the outer low pressure chamber. - Tyre pressure can be reduced to a minimum 14 psi, thus providing a huge amount of grip. Even on the roughest terrain tyres “stick” to the ground. - Due to the extra cushioning and traction there is much better steering, braking and traction control. - No more risk of snake bites. The rims are extremely well protected from denting. - Even in the toughest conditions, significantly lighter tyres can be used. - Excellent emergency running characteristics due to the internal high-pressure air chamber.
Suitable for use in tubeless wheel and tyre systems, the Rocket Ron truly lives up to its name, as with its tight tread pattern it offers a very low rolling resistance. The tread’s advanced design includes stable shoulder studs so you can maintain grip the corners. Plus, there are still enough gaps between the studs to clear mud efficiently, preventing “spin-outs” when you’re attacking steep climbs. Additional Features: Cleverly designed tread balanced for low rolling resistance whilst remaining grippy Sufficient gaps for amazing self-cleaning properties Stable shoulder studs Recommended Tyre Pressures: 26x2.25”: 1.8-3.7 Bar (26-54 psi); 27.5x2.1”: 2-4 Bar (30-55 psi); 27.5x2.25”: 1.8-3.7 Bar (26-54 psi); 27.5x2.6”: 1.5-3 Bar (20-45 psi); 27.5x2.8”: 1.2-2.6 Bar (17-38 psi); 29x2.1”: 2-4 Bar (30-55 psi); 29x2.25”: 1.8-3.7 Bar (26-54 psi) Weights: 26x2.25”: 585g; 27.5x2.1”: 570g; 27.5x2.25”: 620g; 27.5x2.6”: 785g; 27.5x2.8”: 835g; 29x2.1”: 670g; 29x2.25”: 600g Technologies: ADDIX Speed: The compound for XC race specialists, It catapults Schwalbe's XC tyres into a new performance dimension.
