With all our new 35mm handlebar line, we saw the flex characteristics being of optimum importance. For all our 35mm handlebars we have matched their flex characteristics to the 31.8mm equivalent. All 35mm bars have the same ride quality that Renthal handlebars have become synonymous with.We have achieved the same ride quality with no loss of strength or durability at a very similar weight. The only exception to this is the Fatbar, where we’ve reduced the weight significantly, whilst maintaining the same level the strength, durability as the smaller diameter handlebar.Importantly, we have increased the width of all handlebars by 20mm, taking the Fatbar Carbon 35 to 800mm.The Renthal FatBar Carbon 35 is the ultimate DH race handlebar. The product of an intense and in-depth research and development program, this ride-tuned handlebar combines the ultimate blend of strength, stiffness and shock absorption. This is achieved at a full 800mm width and at a market leading 225g weight. This handlebar comes in at 800mm and is approved for downhill racing and use with a twin crown fork. The Fatbar Carbon is an all-new handlebar, not just a wider version of the Fatbar Lite Carbon. We followed the same in depth R&D process with this handlebar as with our previous Fatbar Lite Carbon, with the ride-feel of the bar being of the utmost importance. Our aluminium Fatbar has been hugely popular and successful, with six World Championship gold medals having been won using this handlebar. Our mission was to match the ride-feel of the aluminum Fatbar but in a much, much lighter weight carbon package. With extensive R&D testing and data acquisition work, we have proven that this has been achieved. A downhill race handlebar with superb ride-feel characteristics and incredible strength. And all this in a 800mm bar which weighs a mere 225g!This Fatbar Carbon 35 is much more than the bar of choice for downhill racers. Modern trail riders, enduro racers and 29'er / 27.5in riders are demanding wide bars at XC race weight. The Fatbar Carbon 35 exactly matches those demands and is certain be the 'must have' handlebar for this huge market of riders.Following our philosophy of giving the rider spec choice, we have committed to four different rises - 10, 20, 30 and 40mm. No other carbon handlebar brand offers this level of choice to give the rider such a precise fit.FeaturesUD carbon construction,Ride tuned for the ultimate combination of stiffness and shock absorption,Increased width oversize centre section for fine-tuned flex characteristics,DH race and twin crown fork compatible,DH spec 800mm width,Permanent graphics, set-up grid and cut marks,Race-light 225g weight. Our challenge with the Integra 35 stems, was to keep the strength, stiffness and durability of the larger 35mm diameter package at the same weight as the 31.8mm equivalent. The strength, stiffness and durability were all matched to the 31.8mm equivalent, with and average of just 1.5g added to the Integra. The new Integra 35 Direct Mount stems feature the same lightweight, 6-bolt design as the original Integra II and Renthal have improved the structure of the stem. The Integra 35 uses the same C-shape clamping system as the Apex stem range, which has been increased in size to cope with the demands of top level DH racing. The use of two independent, C-shape handlebar clamps allows the stem body material to be reduced to a minimum, whilst maintaining an incredibly stiff and strong structure. The ultra-wide, 64mm handlebar clamping area increases torsional rigidity and the use of just six bolts vastly reduces overall weight. In addition, the uninterupted clamp on the underside of the handlebar eliminates stress risers found on most other clamps, which can lead to handlebar failure. The size range has also now increased to include 45mm and 50mm lengths. Both of which are available in either zero rise or +10mm rise giving you four options:45 x Zero. Length 45mm. Rise zero. Bar clamp 35mm.,45 x +10mm. Length 45mm. Rise +10mm. Bar clamp 35mm. ,50 x Zero. Length 50mm. Rise zero. Bar clamp 35mm. ,50 x +10mm. Length 50mm. Rise +10mm. Traction grips are developed for extreme conditions and for those that want additional mechanical grip.Traction grips use an advanced design and need to be set up correctly. With the words 'top' and 'forward' accompanied by some useful arrows, setting up the Traction grips is a cinch. The reason for this positioning is that the grip pattern alternates around its circumference to more effectively interact with each part of your hand. The traction grip has six unique features;1. Forward Facing Ramped Finger Ridges; When pulling back on the handlebars, the majority of the grip and torque is concentrated through the fingers. Forward facing, ramped ridges in the finger area give increased grip when pulling back, yet lay flat in normal riding conditions, for improved comfort.2. Rearward Facing Angled Palm Grooves; When braking or steep descending, the majority of the torque and grip is concentrated through the palm. Grooves cut with a rearward facing angle give improved grip in this situation. As the groove is cut into the grip, it gives a comfortable, large surface area for the palm in normal riding conditions.3. Consistent Pattern; The grooves and ridges are consistent across the width of the grip, to accommodate riding with your hand in any position on the grip. Be it right in the centre, or with the heal of the hand over the end of the grip, the additional traction is just as effective.4. Open-Ended Grip Features;Riding in extreme conditions, crashes are inevitable, which can result in the grip getting packed with mud. We designed the grips to have open-ended features, allowing mud to be purged off the end of the grip. Simply push outwards with your hand.5. Offset Grip Material; For comfort, the thickness of grip material under the palm area has been increased to give improved cushioning. Thinner grip material is used under the finger area to keep the overall outside diameter the same.6. Compound Options; We offer this grip pattern in four compounds; Ultra Tacky, Soft With Dupont Kevlar®, Soft, Medium,.Specifications:Left and right specific with forwards and top side arrow markings.,CNC machined 6082 T6 aluminium locking collars.,Integrated grip body and locking collars for ultimate durability.,Four compounds available.,Smooth profile end transition, for maximum comfort.,130mm overall length, 110mm grip section.,5mm outside diameter.,Snap-fit end caps.,116g weight (pair)..
Renthal Fatbar AluminiumThe second version of the Renthal Fatbar has undergone a full structural re-design.
