SRAM G2 RSC Disc BrakeReady for hitting your favourite trails, this MTB hydraulic disc brake features a robust aluminium lever blade that provides durable and dependable braking operation on the toughest of rides. SRAM has also equipped it with a lightweight four-piston S4 caliper that uses four machined and moly-coated aluminium pistons to achieve consistent rollback and easy setup. In addition, its calipers heat shield insulation, Bleeding Edge porting and adaptor technology delivers easier bleeds. Coming kitted out with steel-backed organic brake pads, this model offers powerful braking modulation and control as you navigate your way around the mountain.Adjustable MTB Hydraulic Disc BrakeG2 RSC is the half-ton pickup truck of the mountain bike brake world — dependable, go anywhere, do anything, plenty of power when you need it, and all of the features you need. The G2 RSC is based on the SRAM Code design, so it puts Code-like power and modulation into a mini-Code package. And of course, the signature Guide lever-feel and contact-point adjustability ensure that this brake works great for every rider. The G2 RSC presents a rider-controlled offering with an alloy blade, lever pivot bushings, stainless steel hardware.S4 Lightweight 4-Piston CaliperThe all new S4 Caliper features four Machined and Moly-coated aluminium pistons for consistent rollback and easy set-up, Heat shield insulation and Bleeding Edge porting and adapter technology for easy bleeds.SwingLinkSqueeze a SRAM brake lever and you notice it immediately. Less deadband. More positive engagement. A new cam system requires less lever throw to push the pads toward the rotor. That’s great, but there’s more to perfect braking performance than just power. You need control. Many brake systems minimize deadband—but at the cost of modulation. SwingLink solves that with its special cam shape. When the pads contact the rotor, the leverage rate curve is flat and smooth, avoiding that “on/off” brake feel. It’s the perfect balance of power and precision.Useful reach and contact point adjustments for every type of rider. SRAM design its brakes to give each individual rider distinct control of their ride.Added stiffness in the caliper and a new pad compound that offers more bite and really delivers the Mini-Code feel.Engineered for easy installation.Features: Lever Blade Material: Aluminium - Stamped Piston Material: Phenolic Plastic Pad Type: Steel-backed Organic Use: Mountain Bike (MTB) Brake Type: Hydraulic disc brake Number of Pistons: 4 Recommended Rotor Type: 1-piece CenterLine (available separately) Recommended MMX Clamp: Stainless bolt, blk clmp (available separately) Single or Pair: Single Weight: 248gPlease Note: This brake is designed for use with a Matchmaker clamp (combined with shifter) so does not come with its own bar clamp. These bar clamps are sold separately.Technologies: Contact Point Adjustment: Some people like the instantaneous power of a short lever throw. Others prefer the feel of a longer throw. With Contact Point Adjust, you can pick the position you want your fingers to be in when your brakes are engaged. It’s a quick and easy way to customize the feel of your brakes without having to move the pads. It’s also a way to balance both brake levers to feel exactly the same. Power Reserve Geometry: Your fingers pull in a straight line, but brake levers move in an arc. Bottom line: Your fingers typically want to slip off the ends of the levers as you pull. We designed all of our brakes with the industry's lowest X Factor (that's the distance from the center of the handlebar to the center of the lever's pivot). That reduces the lever's inward travel, creating an arc that's closer to your fingers' natural motion and more power is delivered to the brake lever. And, the cool part is, every SRAM and Avid brake lever has it. Timing Port Closure: A hydraulic brake’s timing port is the connection between the reservoir and the lever cylinder bore. When the lever is squeezed, a cup seal passes this area and closes the port, which pressurizes the system. SRAM’s timing port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish producing dependable braking power and consistency.Buy SRAM Components from Chain Reaction Cycles, the World's Largest Online Bike Store.
Rear Fix-G Track HubsAn ever present headache with traditional fixed hubs is the assembly of a drive sprocket that is attached by a thread being pulled in both directions by the pedal torque. The usual solution to avoiding the sprocket unwinding itself from the hub is a left-hand threaded lock-ring, butted up tight against the sprocket. But, as many riders have found out, this system can be quite volatile. We thought, there has to be a better way......and the solution - an HG splined hub body, with sprockets that slide on and an independent lockring that never has to handle rotational forces from the drive.Halo Fix-G advantages:Easy and secure fixing and servicing.,Adjustable chainline - 41 to 52mm.,Accepts 12 - 20T sprockets.,No need for chainwhip tools.."Halo's HG spline system is so obvious and brilliant that other brands must be kicking themselves for not thinking of it first. It can't slip or thread; it's way easier to fit or swap and will take down to 12t cogs, it's genius". Ty at the Footdown - www.thefootdown.co.uk"The Fix-g hub is great! It runs smoothly as the previous Halo hub but the fact that you can move the sprocket for a perfect chainline is great and you can feel the difference straight away. Also, it's really easy to do, everyone can do it without a mechanic's help." Ivan Fiorilla, 5th Floor riding club - London. www.the5thfloor.co.ukNote: The HG spline must ONLY be used with 7mm wide "fat foot" sprockets such as Halo Fat Foot sprockets or Gusset Double Six sprocket to avoid the cog biting into the alloy splines on the hub. Regular width HG sprockets should NEVER be used.SpecificationsMaterial Alloy forged and CNC machined,Drillings 32H, 36H or 48H depending on model,Bearings 2 x 6000 series Japanese sealed bearings.,Axle Hollow M10 Cr-Mo axle,Spoke Hole Circle Diameter (PCD) 62mm,spoke hole size (diameter) 2.5mm,Centre to Flange Left and Right: 34mm,OLD 120mm,Colour Black, Silver or White,Weight 328g.

Instead of telling gravel riders what they needed, we asked them what they wanted. Shimano spent two years listening and countless hours speaking with gravel enthusiasts from all over the world. We took to dirt and gravel roads, narrow singletrack paths, creek crossings, and mountain passes to test ourselves and our notions of drop bar cycling. We pinned on race numbers and packed up bikepacking bags. We choked on dust and reveled in mud. And the result of all that riding and all those new friendships? First, Shimano’s Gravel Alliance and now, Shimano GRX, the world’s first dedicated gravel component series.Choice. Shimano’s new GRX line is all about choice. Shimano doesn’t want to pigeonhole the way you ride, or decide for you what the best solution is for your riding style. While we’ve long been fans of double chainring drivetrains, we also recognize the value of a single chainring system. With GRX, Shimano offers both, each with gearing options that allow you to tailor your drivetrain to suit your tastes. With two different derailleur cage lengths, Shimano GRX ensures stable shifting and chain retention across a wide range of gearing options. Looking for maximum range while maintaining road cassette progression? Go with GRX’s 800 series 2x11 RD-RX810 or Di2 RD- RX815 rear derailleurs, designed for close ratio clusters, with 48/31 chainrings and an 11-34 cassette. Paired with 700c x 40mm tires, it delivers a top gear similar to a road bike with 25mm tires and a 50 x 11 gear. And on the low end, with its 31 x 34 combination, you get a gear that early mountain bikers would envy. It is the lowest gear currently on offer for premium road drivetrains (aside from Shimano’s own GRX 2x10 30-36 offering), perfect for climbing loose, dirt and gravel surfaces.Want to drop some weight, simplify your shifting, and still maintain a versatile range? Consider the 1x11 GRX option with either Shimano’s 11-40 or 11-42 cassette and a 40 or 42-tooth equipped crankset, shifted by a RD-RX812 or Di2 RD-RX817 wide ratio rear derailleur. You’ll lose a little, absolute top speed, but still love the 1:1 low gear ratio. If you live in an area without sustained or steep climbs, you might love the smaller gear steps of that same 1x11 front chainring with an 11-34 cassette. Options abound. What about when the weather turns autumnal and you contract a case of cyclocross fever? GRX 1x11 can quickly transform from gravel fun to CX focused with the change of a cassette. No matter the option you select, GRX rear derailleur offerings feature Shimano’s SHADOW Plus chain stabilizer that can be turned on or off depending on conditions. SHADOW Plus revolutionized the mountain bike world and now it’s been tuned for gravel and rough road riding in GRX. With a quieter drivetrain, SHADOW Plus helps you engage with your surroundings and enjoy time outside.Today’s gravel riders demand more of their bikes and of themselves.
