The SunRace extender link is designed to increase the clearance between the rear mech and the cassette. This is especially useful where a rear mech is too close to the largest sprockets to function correctly, and especially applicable on wide ratio cassettes. The Extender Link allows a rear derailleur with a max sprocket size of 32T to function with a 36T sprocket.
