Its unique process changes the Silicium/Chromium/Steel Alloy mix to produce a super hard, yet lightweight metal that will withstand the highest demands inflicted through MTB. To prevent shock rub, the spring is bi-convex in shape. This will allow the spring to progress freely without any friction when under load. Up to 40 per cent lighter than a steel spring, this hardened Super-light steel (SLS) spring has been designed to fit most rear shocks on the market by using Nukeproof’s unique Reducers and Spacers. This spring will work with metric shocks with an eye to eye between 210mm and 230mm, and with a stroke length between 47.5mm and 65mm. The spring will also work with standard shocks with an eye to eye between 200mm and 216mm, and a stroke length between 2” – 2.5” A pair of 38mm to 36mm reducers are included to allow this spring to be fitted to most shocks on the market. This rear thru-axle is equipped with a high-quality 7075 aluminium build, which makes it not only lightweight but also very strong and durable on your mountain bike adventures. This makes it a great choice of upgrade for riders who need to replace a damaged or lost stock axle from their frame. The axle has a washer which helps to reduce pressure on the frame dropouts and transfers some of the tightening torque to the clamping load. This also helps to increase stiffness and prevent the axle from getting stuck when you want to remove it. Nukeproof have created a printable guide that you can use to measure your old axle against and check the exact dimensions to ensure you are selecting the correct axle. It can be downloaded here All axles are a 6mm hex on the non-drive side and have a backup hex on the drive-side allowing the axle to be tightened and loosened from either side of the bike. Always apply a small amount of grease to the axle and threads when installing your axle. Nukeproof end caps are available for the Generator 3 in 1 hub so you have the option to choose the axle system that fits your bike. This allows easy conversion between all major axle sizes: - QR, 135mm x 12mm or 142 x 12mm.

This rear shock spring reducer will allow you to reduce the inner diameter of your Nukeproof rear shock spring from 38mm to 36mm. This is required when replacing a spring which has a 36mm inner diameter as standard (DVO, Fox, Cane Creek, BOS, Ohlins, Marzocchi, Manitou & X-Fusion).
This rear wheel features 36 points of engagement and comes in a range of freehub options. Nukeproof has also made freehubs available separately and easy to change if you choose to upgrade your drivetrain in the future. The 142mm hub can be converted to 135mm QR and the 148mm HG / XD hub can be converted to 141mm using end caps. The hub has been machined to remove excess material and make it as strong and light as possible. Nukeproof have increased the thickness of pawl springs in these hubs to give secure engagement on every pedal stroke. The 6066 alloy rim has been extensively to ensure it is a rim which is light enough for aggressive trail riding but strong enough for DH. Nukeproof have used J-Bend spokes meaning tensioning and spoke replacement is much simpler than using a straight pull spoke. The wheels come taped with tubeless valve installed so all you need to do is add sealant and your tyre to get a finished tubeless setup. The valve supplied is Nukeproof's Horizon valve which also has a core remover built into the cap. This valve is also compatible with tyre inserts like Nukeproof ARD.
