Please Note: This tyre is listed as a clincher tyre, but it is a specific tyre of tyre that brings you the benefits of a tubular tyre, that is only compatible with clincher type rims. It is called a "tubular clincher" type tyre and cannot be used on tubular rims. The thinner tread of this road bike tyre also lowers rolling resistance while the tyre is maintaining ideal shock absorption properties and high puncture resistance. How Does the Tubular Clincher Tyre Work? When inflated, the tubular clincher (see image below), in the same way as a tubular, is pressed towards the rim.
