Clean and simple is always best. This Lever-less design on the Burgtec Transition Rear Axle gives added security and clearance for when situations get tight. These super tough axles tighten up with a 6mm Allen key. They feature a get out of jail 6mm Allen key on the drive side of the axle if you manage to round the non drive side. A Dropout Bolt is also provided. This Get out of Jail'' feature makes removal much easier if the 6mm gets chewed up, over tightened or not removed for a long time. Then scrub the chain with a firm brush (Effetto Cog Brush recommended). Alternatively leave the chain on the bike and use a chain cleaning tool (Effetto Mangiacatena). Rinse the chain with water to flush away the dissolved oil and dirt. Dry the chain before applying fresh lubricant (Effetto Flowerpower Wax recommended). Allpine Extra also cleans disc brake rotors. Remove wheels from bike before cleaning rotors. Apply to a cloth and then wet both disc surfaces. Allow the degreaser to act for a few minutes then rinse with water and dry discs with a clean rag.
With its intense pine scent, Allpine Light is a biodegradable cleaner that will leave your bike clean and shiny. Its natural formula is very effective against dirt. For a light clean, just spray on and wipe away with a dry clean cloth. Not using extra water is efficient and also kind on ebikes with sensitive electronics. A light clean will not remove chain lubricant. For heavier dirt, spray on generously and leave for a few minutes. Allpine Light will break down the dirt naturally.
