There is more to the carbon headsets than their exceptional good looks. From top to bottom, Box One Carbon Headsets have been designed to perform. Each unit features a custom CNC-machined alloy top cap in the shape of the Box logo with cut-outs to reduce weight. At the centre of the top cap is an anodised aluminium bolt that threads into a gold anodised aluminium expander plug. This expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1 1/8-inch steerer tubes—even carbon fibre steerer tubes. The top bearing cover is crafted from carbon fibre, which not only adds style but helps to shave weight. At the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium-nitride coated, sealed, 45×45 bearings. The titanium coating results in a low friction coefficient, increased corrosion resistance and smoother rolling bearings. A split crown race makes installation and removal from forks super easy. Box 1.5-inch headsets are designed solely for tapered frames and forks, but also include an adapter which allows you to run a fork with a straight 1 1/8-inch steerer tube.
Hand built in Southern California, Box Three Wheels are made with Box One front and rear rims and 36-hole, Box Three Pro Hubs laced 3-cross front and rear with 14-gauge stainless steel spokes and brass nipples. Each wheelset is built with Wheelsmith Spoke Prep and inspected using a DT Swiss tension meter for quality control. The Clutch Hub is a traditional clutch-based coaster hub design that eliminates all of the problematic elements on ordinary hubs and only keeps the parts that work. A super-strong Full 14mm axle, bearing configuration, and drag mechanism design stops the need for constant repairs. Equipped with external slack adjustment, which can be done with a 2.5mm hex key through a hub shell access hole (can be adjusted without removing the wheel), and an improved plastic hub guard spec. The Clutch V2 is laced to the Odyssey Quadrant Rim. The Quadrant rim is made from 6061 T6 aluminium and uses a double wall design with one large hollow chamber through the middle for added strength. The Box One Stealth Expert Hubset is designed to be lightweight for lightweight riders and features small hub flanges, and decreased material to keep the weight down. This makes the Stealth Expert Hubset ideal for any Mini, Junior or Expert wheel build, but may also accommodate a lightweight rider looking to move up to a pro-sized bike. Ordinary aluminum nipples have a bad reputation for rounding off, but the Taper-Hex Nipple shape makes it work better than brass. The tapered hexagon shape means that the spoke wrench can easily slide down the nipple to fit perfectly and transmit maximum torque without deforming. Pack of 40.

FTL collab with Merritt on the Billy Perry Option model to create a truly unique design. The Option Tyre takes a look at what makes a good street tyre and goes way beyond it, making more than a good looking tread pattern. Featuring Slidewall technology which is Merritt's own ultra-hard, lo friction compound that reduces drag on grinds and increases the life of the tyre sidewalls. The centre section of the tyre is smooth, so it is nice and fast, but the tread is actually thick for this section. The thicker tread has the benefit of increased shock absorption and then abruptly tapers down to a thinner thickness. By having the tapered tread connect to the thick centre section, it offers support so there is no squirm and the tyre is stable and at the same time reduces the tyre weight because there is no benefit to the thicker tread on those sections of the tyre.
