For those addicted to the rush of gravity-fed mountain biking, the Raid Knee Guards bring top-drawer knee protection to soak up the hard knocks of Downhill riding. Central to their knee-saving performance is the D3O® CE certified knee pad. Extremely flexible when you're riding, but if and when you crash, it works instantly to soak up injury-causing impacts. Elsewhere, padding is added to key areas to ensure all-around protection of your knees while still allowing optimal flexibility. Flexible comfort comes via the vented neoprene construction. It makes it easy to pedal and easy to move and react to the trail below your wheels. A breathable rear mesh panel also provides a boost to moisture management. Silicone grippers and Velcro® straps lock your pads in place, while the 'Fit-Lock' calf band also prevents unwanted slippage.

To protect your knees from impact we use SAS-TEC, soft and flexible Visoelastic foam for superior comfort but also extreme impact absorption. The shin section uses a hard plastic shield with a soft dual layer foam backing. This year we also added Sharkskin neoprene on the inside of the pad, acting as a gripper to keep the pad from slipping when wet. To protect your ankles from impact we use EVA foam padding and polyamide hard shields. The ankle section is is adjustable thanks to its velcro tabs, or can be fully removed if desired.
