When it comes to swift but gnarly hardtails the Orange Crush line-up is the benchmark others aim for. The original aluminium hardcore hardtail gets a 2022 tune-up to keep it ahead of the game. The frame has gone through a couple of geometry adjustments and a few construction refinements. First, and most obvious, is the new one-piece chainstay yoke. It is forged for maximum toughness and provides improved lateral rigidity for pedalling performance, and leaves plenty of clearance for larger tyres, while giving the chainring plenty of space to breathe in muddy conditions. The new frame features a tapered headtube, giving us more weld area to add strength and provide more support for the lower headset bearing. Where others skimp on the bottom bracket shell, we belive the extra strength benefits of a 73mm width in this area pays back big-time of a hardtail that gets the thrashing we know a typical Crush will get.GENRE DEFINING GEOMETRYFor the new frame's geometry we've pulled things forward (seat-tube 75.5°) to place the rider in the perfect climbing position without that feeling that you are 'falling off the back'. We've slackened the front-end (headangle 63.5°) and stretched the wheelbase for stability, while keeping the reach roomy (480mm on a size Large). Coupled with the reduced offset forks we now spec, the rider's weight pitches perfectly in the attack position for more balanced weight distribution and lets the front wheel find grip and prevent front end wash-out. That's not happening here - getting that front tyre biting in and letting the bike flow is what the Crush is all about. There are plenty more details to admire on the new frame; a strong and secure bolt-through rear axle, new cnc-ed cable grommets that not only look great, but keep things tight when everything else around you is getting loose. Some neat new gusseting around the seat-stays add strength and confidence. This is one of the most significant updates to the Crush hardtail platform in years, in testing we've fallen in love with it all over again. It's not all about bouncy bikes, sometimes you just have to take the fight to the trail, and the new Crush takes it to another level. The Crush 29 follows the same philosophy as the Crush. Forward thinking geometry means this 29er version is every bit as solid a performer as its 27.5 wheel sibling. Also running a slack front-end (in this case a headangle at 64.5°), this is one fast rolling hardtail.

FEATURESThe all-new Chisel has been purpose-built to tackle modern cross country trails and race courses with the utmost speed. In fact, it shares many of the same modern features as its Epic Hardtail sibling, but in a more budget-friendly package—making it the most efficient and capable alloy hardtail out there. This Chisel comes spec'd with SRAM's tried and true SX Eagle 1x12 speed drivetrain and Level T hydraulic disc brakes, a RockShox Judy Silver fork, and 25mm internal width alloy wheels wrapped in 2.35 Fast Track Control casing tires. The Chisel's all-new frame utilizes our D'Aluisio Smartweld technology that moves the hydroformed tube joints away from the areas of the highest stress, making the finished frame's balance of strength, rigidity, and weight more pronounced than any alloy frame in history. This not only makes the Chisel one of the lightest alloy hardtail frames out there at 1,350g, but it also allows for tuned frame stiffness across all sizes.,The new Chisel also houses all of the modern features that you expect from an XC bike, like Progressive XC Geometry with a 68-degree headtube angle and longer reach, internal cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, boost spacing, 30.9mm dropper post compatibility, and 1x-only drivetrains..
This full-suspension mountain bike (MTB) frame comes kitted out with a hydroformed and triple-butted 6061 aluminium build, which makes it impressively tough and dependable as you charge from trail to trail. Nukeproof has also equipped this model with race-ready geometry that includes internal cable routing for a hassle-free, sleek finish. Another highlight is its 157x12mm Boost rear hub spacing, which allows for maximum stiffness and control on the more demanding of terrain conditions. Coming complete with a RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate DH RC rear shock, this frame is engineered for smooth and consistent performance, wherever the trail leads you. “It makes me want to race some World Cups again (Sam Hill)". Racing is in Nukeproof's DNA. It comes from being developed and tested in conjunction with the world’s fastest racers. The updated Dissent platform shares some similarities with the Pulse at first glance, but if you dig a little deeper it is actually quite different. The main changes Nukeproof wanted to make were: - Simplify the design, to drop the weight and increase the front triangle stiffness. - More progressive leverage rate to increase the mid stroke support to make the bike pump better, sit higher in the travel, improve stability in corners and improve the liveliness of the ride. Structurally the most obvious change is an all new suspension design for the Dissent. In a move away from the Fallout Linkage; The updated Dissent’s rocker link is now positioned on the outside of the seat tube, rather than tucked inside a clamshell as before. This allows us to drop a fair bit of weight whilst increasing the front triangle stiffness at the same time. Race Ready Full Suspension MTB Frame The suspension platform now uses a push rather than a pull link, helping to reduce the loads and stresses on the frame again helping to further save weight and improve durability. The result of all of this is that the Dissent frame is over 400g lighter than the Pulse. The Dissent platform was originally conceived by Nukeproof engineers as a concept to test several progression curve theories at once. However, in turning the theory into reality, Nukeproof created something much better than expected, and the prototype won on its international debut at Crankworx festival’s Garbanzo Downhill race with Sam Hill. It is not uncommon for different world cup riders to want a slightly different characteristic to one another depending on factors such as their riding style and whether they run flat pedals or not. The Dissent takes this into account with an adjustable main pivot flip chip, designed to essentially work like a bottomless token for a coil shock. The Dissent frame now offers riders the choice of 4 main pivot positions, which alter how progressive the suspension is. Cleverly the geometry and travel do not change between positions. Note: The sag difference between each setting is around 1% so you should not need a different spring rate. The Main pivot flip chips are fast and simple to change and offer a tailored factory set up for every rider! Further custom tuning can be done via Nukeproof's new three-position adjustable chainstay features interchangeable dropout inserts. The chainstay flip chips allow you to alter the wheelbase by 5-10mm depending on the type of track you’re riding, your height or riding style. The combination of frame adaptability, a custom hydroformed 6061 aluminium tubeset, a confidence inspiring 63-degree head angle and 190mm of travel via Nukeproof's new Dissent platform make this bike the privateers dream. The centrally-positioned shock and linkage system ensure optimum handling while other features include a true 1.5” head tube, ISCG 05 mounts and a 157mm x 12mm rear axle to keep things stable at the rear. From concept through to design, the Kinematics, the geometry and specification; the Reactor is designed from the ground up to be the ultimate aggressive trail bike. It is at home on technical climbs, but happiest when thrashing the most technical trails you can point it at. Frame Construction: To optimise the weight, strength and stiffness, the Reactor Carbon frame features a full UD woven carbon fibre frameset (Including chain and seat stays). It is available for 27.5” or 29” wheel sizes. These are two totally different, compromise-free frames that were designed and developed at the same time. Each frame is simply tailored around each wheel size. Speed or play: which do you value more? The manoeuvrability of 27.5” or the raw speed of a 29”? Adjustable Geometry: All Reactor frames feature a “flip chip” to adjust the geometry from “Trail” to “Rail mode”. Trail – As the name suggests, this setting is best suited for trail riding. It is for riders who get as much enjoyment from the climb as the descents. Rail - The Rail setting turns the Reactor into a corner shredder, dropping the bottom bracket 6mm and slackening the head angle by half a degree. It is there to maximise the descending capabilities. Suspension Design: To ensure the bike could climb as well as it descends, Nukeproof designed the 4 bar horst linkage to have higher levels of anti-squat for climbing gears but lower levels when you drop down the cassette. This means that the bike can behave itself on the climbs but when you get it up to speed, it turns into a trail hooligan. The combination of low anti-squat and progressive rate give ultimate small bump compliance (removes rough trail and root chatter) with good mid stroke support for cornering/pumping and end stroke progression for aggressive riding. Balanced anti-rise figures allow the Reactor some squat when braking hard, maintaining rider position and providing a good amount of pressure through the tyre to ensure traction. The Reactor is designed to reward the rider and ensure you get that stoke factor in on any ride.
