Using a unique one-piece design that bolts straight to the crank arms, the X-Range rings work in conjunction with the X-Range XG-1290 cassette to provide a wider gear range and smoother progression between gears, meaning you'll always be in the right gear. The unique 10t start of the XG-1290 cassette means the Red DUB chainset can use smaller chainrings than normal while retaining a similar gear for top speed. The smaller chainrings also mean you'll have a lower bottom gear for punishing climbs. The integrated Quarq Dzero is cleverly packaged as part of the chainrings, reducing weight and making it possible to switch the power meter between compatible Red chainsets. The power meter has a power balance feature, that measures power from left and right legs separately and is accurate within +/- 1.5%, given a highly accurate reading to help you train and ride harder. The chainrings also feature closer ratio spacing than traditional double or compact chainsets, so you have a smoother progression between ratios, keeping your cadence more consistent and requiring less rear shifts to compensate, further improving the smoothness of your cadence and speed. The smaller gap also means shifting faster and crisper.The Red DUB AXS Power Meter chainset uses SRAM's carbon-tuned crank arms that are both incredibly light and extremely stiff. The use of the DUB bottom bracket system improves durability, simplicity and compatibility over the older GXP and BB30 designs; no more wondering what crank/BB system will fit your bike, DUB works with most frames and bottom bracket shells on the market. The cranks use a unique, modular direct mount chainring interface that syncs perfectly with the new one-piece X-Range chainrings.
