SRAM’s own wireless technology provides a secure connection and the removable battery has a 1000km range. So, if you forget to top up your battery and it runs low miles from home, simply swap it over with the front derailleur's battery to get back on the road with a full cassette range. It also benefits from the same quality construction of the mechanical SRAM Red version, featuring ceramic pulley bearings, a carbon cage, and an anodised alloy body. Technologies: AIREA™ - Utilizing 128-bit encryption, eTap® shift signals are transmitted and received in accordance with SRAM’s proprietary wireless protocol known as AIREA. Each time an eTap groupset is paired, a new encryption code is generated and assigned to the components in this group to ensure complete shifting security. eTAP - All of the underlying tech in the SRAM RED® eTap groupset such as wireless shifting, advanced battery power management and mechatronics technologies are all meant to serve one ultimate purpose, to facilitate the most intuitive and consistent shifting available. This shift logic is called eTap. Right lever makes it harder, left lever makes it easier, both levers shift the front derailleur. Simple, unmistakable, and intuitive. Exact Actuation: When SRAM launched their road technology from scratch they reapplied their MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel: derailleur movement) for 10 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilise the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.
With many of the world's top teams ‘Making the Leap’ to SRAM, there is little doubt that wins at the Classics, Grand Tours, Ironman(™), and Cross Worlds were due in part to the lightest, most efficient, and ergonomic road componentry ever made. Technologies: Yaw™: The front derailleur cage rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain. Yaw technology eliminates the need for shifter trim. As a result, shifts feel more direct, more precise, and combined with the new Red crankset and chainrings, delivers an unmatched performance advantage in front shifting
The EX1 also benefits from many of the same technologies that are seen on SRAM’s top-end XX1 X01 mechs. This means it gives you lightning quick, accurate shifting and highly efficient chain retention. Technologies: Cage Lock™: With Cage Lock™ technology in the rear derailleur, wheel removal and installation, as well as chain installation, becomes faster and simpler. Just push the cage forward to create slack and lock it into place. Roller Bearing Clutch™: SRAM's Roller Bearing Clutch™ rear derailleurs deliver maximum drivetrain stability, even through the most punishing terrain. With Roller Bearing Clutch™ technology, derailleur bounce and chain slap are eliminated without sacrificing precision. X-Actuation™: Developed specifically for SRAM 1x™, X-Actuation™ keeps shifting sharp and consistent across the entire cassette. X-Horizon™: The X-Horizon™ rear derailleur's ‘straight parallelogram' design limits all movement to the horizontal axis, which makes ghost shifting impossible while also reducing shift force. For quicker, more exact shifting, the large upper pulley offset design maintains a constant chain gap across all gears. X-Sync™: SRAM's X-sync™ pulleys and chainrings tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, helps manage a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-SYNC™ chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Engineered in Germany, X-SYNC™ rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x™ drivetrain.
The SRAM UDH (universal derailleur hanger) protects your rear derailleur against chain jams by pivoting back and out of the way and slips slightly when encountering impacts. SRAM has also ensured that it will work with all drivetrains and improve shifting performance as well as guarantee better alignment. Plus, if you ever need a replacement, it will be available everywhere. The UDH. One hard-working hanger. - The Universal Derailleur Hanger – or UDH – consolidates thousands of mountain bike derailleur standards - It offers unparalleled derailleur protection. And perfect alignment. Guaranteed - The UDH is designed to rotate rearward in the event of impact and features the ability to “re-rail” the chain back onto the small cog - The UDH works with all commercially available MTB and E-MTB drivetrains from Shimano to Box to Sunrace

One of the stand-out features is the “Embrace” technology, which ensures an ultra-efficient chain and cassette interface, secure chain grip, increased durability, and excellent power transfer. Disc Brake Frame Specific This HO (hydraulically optimised) version is specifically designed for use on disc brake frames that feature the wider 12x142mm rear dropout spacing. It features an adapted mounting link for easier thru axle removal and larger teeth on the upper pulley for precise shifting at more extreme chainlines. Technologies: Ultra-Shift™: This control system by Campagnolo is regarded by everyone as the fastest and most precise out there. With this system, you can move the chain simultaneously up 3 sprockets and then 5 down. Furthermore, the lever design allows for an ever lighter shifting, whilst maintaining the "click" sound featured on all Campagnolo® controls. Embrace Technology: This technology increases the number of sprocket teeth wrapped by the chain, allowing smooth, fast, and prompt shifting. Proven to optimise the functionality of the rear derailleur even when using extreme cassettes such as 11-32T.
This means that it brings you precise, fast, and reliable shifting at a price that won't break the bank! Featuring a one-piece steel cage and a long lever rod, the Centaur front mech provides effortless operation between chainrings and reduces the force required on the shifter. Race ready and built to last, this is one component that easily outperforms many others at this price point.
The Campagnolo Chorus EPS groupset takes a great deal of its DNA from its mechanical counterpart as it represents a more accessible version of Campagnolo performance, quality and attention to detail but delivers it in the laser-like precision package of an EPS drivetrain. It's extremely powerful motors are capable of producing levels of torque without rival in electronic shifting which guarantee precise and effective shifting no matter the conditions or circumstances. Shifting even under heavy load is no problem for the Chorus EPS transmission and mud, grime and debris have met their match against such powerful motors. With an IP67 waterproof rating on the entire system rain gear is only necessary for the cyclist, not his groupset. The dérailleur is composed of a mechanical structure with dropout and a series of electronic parts. The outer Dérailleur Rod held in place by a double-finned pin that passes all the way through to increase rigidity. The System that links the dérailleur to the frame is made of aluminium co-pressed with the engineering polymer of the body of the dérailleur. This creates optimal solidity and rigidity ensuring that the dérailleur maintains a correct position with respect to the frame. The core of the dérailleur is composed of an electronic actuator; in turn composed of a gear motor with a built-in resolver that uses Magnetic Hall Sensor technology (as the sensor is not in contact it is not affected by the vibrations generated by the terrain, and is therefore always precise). The gear motor was developed in partnership with a Swiss company that produces electric motors used in missions to Mars. The actuator is also equipped with a ""cascade gearbox"" which allows movement to be transferred in an exact and rapid manner. AUTOMATIC CORRECTION: Compared to the traditional mechanical derailleur that could be adjusted with micro displacements made by acting on the levers manually, the EPS dérailleur is equipped with a very sophisticated electronic AUTOMATIC POSITION CORRECTION system. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. WATERPROOF: In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
