Triathletes who are constantly in pursuit of faster and more efficient systems have known this for a while now.After seeing athletes struggle with zip tied creations and Velcro® attached monstrosities for years, we were asked by Jordan Rapp to create a real solution to the growing need for a well engineered BTA system that incorporated the computer head unit. So, we tasked our design staff to make it so. Here is what Rapp had to say upon receiving the finished product. “It’s been amazing to have the support of Ben Waite at ZIPP and Mark Cantella at SRAM® in the evolution of this project. The Race was designed using data compiled from thousands of fit sessions with recreational and professional cyclists and triathletes by the world’s best fitters. The Vuka Race bend places the wrists at a more natural bend to help riders remain in their tuck to optimize aerodynamics. 175 grams. Vuka Alumina Evo 70 and 110 extensions are available in both a 70mm (176g) and 110mm (180g) rise. Designed to deliver improved aerodynamics by placing hands closer together and nearer to the rider’s head to start airflow over the rider sooner. Designed with input from top bike fitters, the shape of the Vuka Alumina Evo is crafted to feel as if the rider is shaking hands with the bar.
