This innovative design features a two piece construction which, whilst the outer sleeve remains permanently attached to the saddle, has an inner purse that may be removed so that its owner may retain it, thus securing its valuable contents. With an amazingly classical aesthetic, this spring-mounted seat by Brooks keeps you sitting upright, aiding your back and overall position when riding through town. A staple of Brooks' output since 1927, it holds an elegant look, superb suspension and a robust form, giving a brilliant finish to your sophisticated commuter bicycle.
Brooks' Roll Up Panniers are inspired by the Cyclist’s Hold-alls, first featured in the 1890’s catalogue. As the originals, the new panniers can be rolled up or easily released when needed. This pair of commuter bags for traditional transport bicycles is entirely made of water resistant cotton with leather finishing. On the top of the bag attachment to the bicycle rack these panniers feature a crossed elastic to fasten additional objects to carry during urban transit. The Brick Lane roll up panniers attach to most racks with a width between 10 and 15 cm.
This product keeps the leather supple as it is specially formulated from natural ingredients to condition, preserve and shower proof your saddle. Apply a little of it to the finished side of the leather. Allow it to permeate until dry and then polish off. Brooks Saddle Proofide should be used several times during the 'breaking-in' period and every 3-6 months thereafter. On bikes not fitted with mudguards, an initial application to the underside of the saddle will be beneficial, this needs not to be polished off. The leather gets its colour during the tanning process and it is possible, therefore, that some colour residues will remain. It is recommended to polish the saddle with a soft cloth before first use.
