Look Keo Blade Carbon Composite Pedals - Cromo Axle - Black
  • £100.00
  • RRP £130.00
  • Saving you £23

The Blade brings together all the benefits of a blade pedal: crisper in and out clipping, better foot support for more security, aerodynamic shape and low weight (compared to a conventional spring system). The platform contact area has been enlarged, providing excellent pedalling stability.Body: Carbon CompositeAxle: Chromoly steel +Weight: 288g inc cleats & screwsCleats: Keo grip cleats greyThe Blade Carbon pedal spindle was designed to obtain a very low stack height: only 13mm. The Blade body and blade are built from carbon composite material. This substance makes the production of a range of less rigid blades possible (8 to 12)  for a cleat engagement and release feel that falls between a metal spring and a carbon blade pedal. Blade Technology uses a blade instead of a conventional metal spring, which has many advantages for the user.  The blade flexes, providing a firm hold once clipped-in, and when clipping-out, releases the foot faster at the end of the process in a quick and secure movement. Thanks to the integration of the blade inside the body, pedals equipped with BLADE technology have the best aerodynamic shape ever created. The design of the pedal around a blade system allows a significant reduction in weight and better load distribution.

Look Keo 2 Max Carbon Pedals - Black

Look have completely remodelled the shape of the Keo 2 Max, giving it a new, slimmed down line yet a wider contact surface, increasing its style and efficiency. The contact surface width has been increased to 60mm to provide a larger platform and improved foot stability during pedalling. This creates a feeling of unrivalled comfort not found in any other pedal. Look have also sought to optimize power transfer thanks to its new 500mm² of usable surface (+25% increase). The shape of the stainless-steel plate has been revised to match that of the cleat and to keep, regardless of the position of your foot (depending upon the angular float you use), the same amount of contact for consistent performance. The spindle profile of the new KEO 2 MAX has also been optimized. Built around an oversized Chromoly Plus steel axle, it is composed of an axle with an inner ball bearing and a needle roller bearing, located under the contact surface, to handle the load and distribute it optimally.A new component has been added between these two bearings. A serrated washer, previously used to hold the needle roller bearing in place, has been replaced with a conical spacer. This technical solution reduces friction, increases fluidity, and by consequence, decreases the geometrical tolerances of the pedal body and play. The sole purpose of the sum of these improvements has been to guarantee you irreproachable reliability.Body: CarbonAxle: Chromoly +Float: 8 or 12 adjustable springContact surface area: 500mm²Pedal stack height + Cleats: 17,3mmPedal weight: 125g (312g per pair with cleats and screws)Cleats: Keo grip cleats (included)

Ergon TP1 Pedal Cleat Tool - Keo
  • £22.99
  • RRP £26.99
  • Saving you £15

When fitting cleats to your shoes its crucial that they are set in the right position as they play a big part in your riding performance. As the main point of energy transfer its critical that they are set up correctly because if they are not power and performance will be lost as well as riding comfort being compromised which could result in injury for the rider. Most riders when fitting new cleats will spend time measuring and fine-tuning to get the cleats directly under the balls of the feet, and then go on a test ride, fine-tune, and pedal some more to find the optimum angle for the cleats, which can all add up to a lot of time. Even when you think you have the cleat in the correct position, a lot of the time it is in fact not set up correctly although this is hard to notice and is sometimes only spotted by someone who is watching your pedal motion. Luckily thanks to Ergon, fitting new cleats is now simple, precise and quick. The TP1 pedal cleat tool allows for the accurate adjustment of the three axis which are the most important when installing cleats. Fore/aft adjustment, adjusting the Q-Factor and adjusting the cleat angle. Available for a range of pedals including SPD, SPD-SL, KEO, Crank Bros and Speedplay you can be guaranteed that once you have used the TP1 pedal cleat tool you will be pedaling as efficiently as possible.

Whether you're riding for the joy of it or pushing for the top spot on the podium, you get the best of both worlds with a slim profile and incredible support from the large contact area that translates into superior comfort and maximum power transfer. Technologies: Optimised Surface Contact: The Look Keo 2 Max pedal’s surface area has substantial symbolic importance. It is part of the brand’s identity and acts as an indelible signature on the product. The contact surface of these revised Keo 2 Max pedals preserves the strong lines on which its history was built. Its width has been increased to 60 mm to provide a larger platform and improved foot stability during pedalling. This creates a feeling of unrivalled comfort not found in any other pedal. Look also sought to optimise power transfer thanks to its larger 500 mm² of usable surface (+25% increase). The shape of the stainless-steel plate has been revised to match that of the cleat and to keep, regardless of the position of your foot (depending upon the angular float you use), the same amount of contact for consistent performance. Look Keo Classic 3 Pedals Clip-in Pedals
  • £31.99
  • RRP £46.00
  • Saving you £30

Simple to use, it is possible to adjustment the cleat entry/release tension to low for an easy clip out. Its large and wide contact surface provides excellent pedalling stability. The Kéo Classic 3 spindle is made up of an oversized steel axle with miniature ball bearings (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing cartridge for improved wear resistance. A spacer is used to hold the needle bearing cartridge in place. LOOK spindles are only approved after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100tr/min with a load of 90kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (creating a shock on each rotation). This test is far more gruelling to the current industry standard, the EN14781. The new classic two has 400 mm² surface area which is almost 40% more than the competition. The significance of this is the load is spread around the cleat rather than having a small concentrated area, which improves comfort and reduced foot discomfort.
