For the clipped version of the Gravita Versor, Fizik has utilised a Vibram tread compound. This isn't quite as sticky as that found on the flat-pedal shoe but makes for a smoother engagement and disengagement from clip-in pedals. The rubber compound is formed into a zonal lug pattern. Low profile mid-foot tread offers an optimal mechanical interface with pedal bodies, keeping you planted even if you don't immediately find your clip in point. Meanwhile, the heel and toes feature a deeper tread for greater traction when hiking back up the hill. Flex is also tuned for the clip-in rider. The stiffness gets a boost, rated 5 out of 10 on the Fizik stiffness scale, optimising power transfer and improving pedalling efficiency. An extended cleat track also allows you to run cleats further back. This gives a flat-pedal feel as you can drop heels for improved stability and control on descents. Ergonomic and Durable Fizik's Versor design provides a supportive and comfortable fit, cradling the foot and working with the ergonomic lace-up closure to give the perfect fit every time you ride.
