The EPS rear derailleur is comprised mainly of a mechanical structure, derived from the mechanical gear and composed of a derailleur rod/parallelogram/derailleur cage, of a worm screw enabled by an electronic actuator. As with the derailleur, the electronic rear derailleur actuator is composed of a gear motor and a sensor, the built-in resolver, that reads its movements. The geometry of the parallelogram has been made more rigid and optimised to promote interaction with the electronic parts. The lower and upper bodies, the parallelogram and the carbon derailleur cage are moved by a screw system and lead worm screw (not a spring screw) which, in turn, is enabled by the electronic actuator that communicates with the DTI. The built-in resolver inside the actuator is capable of reading the movements of the rear derailleur at any time and optimising its position by communicating with the DTI (Digital Tech Intelligence). The rear derailleur is also equipped with a play recovery system using a helicoidal spring that optimises stability and precision and keeps operation and performance constant over time, even after many kms have been covered. As with the mechanical rear derailleur, it is possible to optimise its position with respect to the frame and chain by acting on two adjusting screws: the screw that adjusts the mechanical end stop and the screw that adjusts the distance between the upper pulley and sprockets. By using these screws it is possible to optimise the installation of the rear derailleur and increase the precision of its operation. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. Multi-Shifting: There are no longer any limits to Multi-shifting and the choice is at the fingertips of the cyclist. Ride Back Home: The uncoupling mechanism of the rear derailleur is useful if the battery runs out on the road, allowing you to manually uncouple the rear derailleur to position it on which ever sprocket you require. Water Proof: In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
Campagnolo Record EPS 11sp Rear DerailleurAs with the mechanical parts, the rear derailleur represents the pride and joy of the EPS project and encompasses a series of technologies and innovations that allow shifting speed to be optimised and guarantee unprecedented precision, even in the case of multiple shifting with 11 sprockets at a time. The EPS rear derailleur is comprised mainly of a mechanical structure, derived from the mechanical gear and composed of a derailleur rod/parallelogram/derailleur cage, of a worm screw enabled by an electronic actuator. This top-quality model has been specially designed by the Campagnolo Tech Lab for the most advanced functionality and effortless shifting experience possible. Additionally, what’s most impressive is the micro-adjustments to the front derailleur position, which make upshifting and downshifting effortless, on steep slopes and unexpected road conditions. This superb model is compatible with tyres up to 32mm, thanks to a new upper connecting rod and optimised design. Finally, this is the perfect choice for keeping your riding at its peak performance, ride after ride. Technologies: Upper connecting rod not connected to the external one: More effective, precise movement, without contacting the limit stop. Cage plate designed to improve occurrences of maximal chain crossing: The derailleur avoids contact and friction with the transmission. Ideal for wider tyres: Tyres of up to a 32 mm cross-section can be fitted without risking contact with the front derailleur. Optimised inner cage plate design: Accurately accompanies the chain on the largest chainring. Cable fixed in double position: Maximum compatibility with frames.

Campagnolo Shamal Mille C17 Road Clincher WheelsetCampagnolo's Shamal Mille C17 Road Clincher Wheelset represents the premium standard in performance aluminium racing wheels. The chic surface treatment that gives this wheelset its smooth and smart dark look also represents a major performance improvement. This treatment allows sure-footed and sturdy braking power over and above normal aluminium rims, regardless of weather conditions.Enhanced PerformanceThe C17 rim ensures a better rim/tyre connection and an enhanced performance, especially when using 25mm and 28mm tyres. This stylish wheelset gets an upgrade by way of black anodised nipples to complete its minimalist dark look. The Shamal Mille is certain to have heads turning by both the competition on race day and those beside you at traffic lights.Features:Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation: It offers an elegant finish and enhances braking power and modularityToroidal Milling Spiral Groove on the Braking Track: Reduces braking distance while maintaining silent braking Differentiated Rim Height: Front (24mm - 27 mm) and rear (27mm - 30 mm)Dynamic Balance™MoMag: Allows the external profile of the rim to be free of holesAerodynamic Spokes in Aluminium: Maximum air penetration, less weight and greater reactivityDifferentiated Spokes: 16 radial spokes for the front, 21 spokes for the rear, doubled on the right and exclusive Mega-G3 spokes to reduce vibration, increase stiffness and transmission of power to the wheelBlack Nipples: Black oxidation finishing self-locking aluminium nipples outside the rim. Allows easy maintenance and less truing over the wheel lifetimeSpokes Anti-Rotation System: It keeps the spokes in position of maximum aerodynamicsCeramic USB Bearings with Differentiated Diameters: 28mm for the front, 30mm for the rear. Less friction, less weight, greater smoothness and the same performance over timeHub Body in Carbon: High lateral stiffness, reducing weight to a minimumAxle in Aluminium: Low weight, high stiffnessOversized Flange: It increases torsional stiffness, increasing its reactivity at every change in the cyclist's paceWeight: 1.459kgTechnologies:USB™ - Ultra Smooth Bearings: Hubs with USB ceramic bearings further enhance the wheels' smoothness and reduce weight and the need for maintenance. Comparative tests have shown that USB bearings are 50% smoother than standard bearings.G3 Geometry: Campagnolo has developed an assembly architecture which, compared with a traditional wheel, makes it possible to improve energy transfer, reduce the stress on the spokes on the right and increase transverse rigidity. This is achieved because in G3 geometry the right-hand side of the rear wheel is fitted with twice as many spokes as the left. The results of the G3 system are truly extraordinary: better transfer of the driving torque, better lateral rigidity, and reduction of the stress in the rear wheel spokes. Thanks to the G3 system that compensates for the forces acting on the 2 sides of the wheel, there are no more wheel vibrations, even for heavier people.MoMag™: A technology that offers several advantages to the structural integrity of the wheel as well as eliminating the need for rim tape. The name derives from “Mounting Magnet” system, shortened to MoMag.RIM Dynamic Balance - Aluminium Wheels: The concept is simple and elegant, balance the weight of the gasket, with an item of similar weight placed on the exact opposite side. For top models, this is obtained by a special operation on the section of the rim opposite the rim joint.Buy Campagnolo Wheels & Tyres from Chain Reaction Cycles, the World's Largest Online Bike Store.
