New mechanical shifting 2x12 speed Record Ergopower with Hydraulic Disc Brake controls: comfort, control, speed, reactivity. The new 12x2 Record Disc Brake Ergo controls take full advantage of the widely respected, proven Campagnolo technologies and have become indispensable for those who are in the saddle for extended periods. One such technology is Vari-Cushion, which offers an ergonomic, comfortable and safe support and grip. There is also the one lever-one action feature that assigns each lever one function to prevent shifting errors. The Ultra-Shift mechanism enables upshifting up to three sprockets at a time and downshifting a full five. Furthermore, the new mechanical Ergopower 12x2 Record Disc Brake controls offer lever adjustability that utilises Reach Adjustment to move the brake lever closer to the low grip, thus adapting to the different hand sizes. AMS Adjustment allows modulating the moment of shift engagement through the use of specific levers. The carbon fibre brake levers feature a unidirectional disposition of the fibre to ensure they match seamlessly with the other components of the groupset. Features & Benefits: Comfortable body: The controls enable a solid, safe grip when pedalling out of the saddle or gripping high on the handlebar. Rapid shifting: Immediate shifting engagement enables activating the front derailleur with minimum effort and in any hand position on the bar. Multiple action: An unplanned ascent, a sudden jerk: it takes barely a moment to find the right ratio owing to the multiple action of the controls. Ergonomic: The shape of the body and the possibility to adjust the reach enable all cyclists to use these controls, regardless of the size of their hands or fingers. Upshifting Lever Integration: More space under the control body when gripping the Ergopower control. Disc Calipers: Flat mount disc only, to be compatible with the latest frame technology. Technologies: Customisable ergonomics, 3 levels of reach adjustment. Vari-Cushion hood, different thicknesses allowing for greater grip, comfort and water dispersion. Upgraded brake lever: the result of meticulous studies (double curve brake lever, new form outward curve). Breaking lever pivot aligned with slant of ergo power, more efficient power transfer requiring less energy from riders hand Maximum Smoothness Cables: new cable set maintains exceptional smoothness far beyond those of the competition, maximum performance longevity Completely redesigned internals for perfect compatibility with new rear derailleur Ultra-Shift System, Up to 5 sprockets in downshifting, up to 3 in upshifting. Enlarged shifting paddles, for instant reaction access Weight: 463g

Shimano GRX RX815 Di2 Hydraulic 11 Speed STI Levers
  • £344.99

Instead of telling gravel riders what they needed, we asked them what they wanted. Shimano spent two years listening and countless hours speaking with gravel enthusiasts from all over the world. We took to dirt and gravel roads, narrow singletrack paths, creek crossings, and mountain passes to test ourselves and our notions of drop bar cycling. We pinned on race numbers and packed up bikepacking bags. We choked on dust and reveled in mud. And the result of all that riding and all those new friendships? First, Shimano’s Gravel Alliance and now, Shimano GRX, the world’s first dedicated gravel component series.Choice. Shimano’s new GRX line is all about choice. Shimano doesn’t want to pigeonhole the way you ride, or decide for you what the best solution is for your riding style. While we’ve long been fans of double chainring drivetrains, we also recognize the value of a single chainring system. With GRX, Shimano offers both, each with gearing options that allow you to tailor your drivetrain to suit your tastes. With two different derailleur cage lengths, Shimano GRX ensures stable shifting and chain retention across a wide range of gearing options. Looking for maximum range while maintaining road cassette progression? Go with GRX’s 800 series 2x11 RD-RX810 or Di2 RD- RX815 rear derailleurs, designed for close ratio clusters, with 48/31 chainrings and an 11-34 cassette. Paired with 700c x 40mm tires, it delivers a top gear similar to a road bike with 25mm tires and a 50 x 11 gear. And on the low end, with its 31 x 34 combination, you get a gear that early mountain bikers would envy. It is the lowest gear currently on offer for premium road drivetrains (aside from Shimano’s own GRX 2x10 30-36 offering), perfect for climbing loose, dirt and gravel surfaces.Want to drop some weight, simplify your shifting, and still maintain a versatile range? Consider the 1x11 GRX option with either Shimano’s 11-40 or 11-42 cassette and a 40 or 42-tooth equipped crankset, shifted by a RD-RX812 or Di2 RD-RX817 wide ratio rear derailleur. You’ll lose a little, absolute top speed, but still love the 1:1 low gear ratio. If you live in an area without sustained or steep climbs, you might love the smaller gear steps of that same 1x11 front chainring with an 11-34 cassette. Options abound. What about when the weather turns autumnal and you contract a case of cyclocross fever? GRX 1x11 can quickly transform from gravel fun to CX focused with the change of a cassette. No matter the option you select, GRX rear derailleur offerings feature Shimano’s SHADOW Plus chain stabilizer that can be turned on or off depending on conditions. SHADOW Plus revolutionized the mountain bike world and now it’s been tuned for gravel and rough road riding in GRX. With a quieter drivetrain, SHADOW Plus helps you engage with your surroundings and enjoy time outside.Today’s gravel riders demand more of their bikes and of themselves. Shimano GRX gives them the options they need to Explore Beyond, tailoring their drivetrains to suit their needs and exceed their expectations. We’ll see you out there!Designed for riding on rough roads, through gravel and mud, to be able to carry on in comfort, stress-free, to wherever you want, to allow you to achieve that unique sense of accomplishment. The first groupset designed for Gravel riding Explore beyond. Introducing SHIMANO GRX.Game-Changing Innovation.Even on the roads less travelled, our new GRX tech will keep things smooth, silent and safe – with you always in control.Designed from the ground up for gravel adventure.Mix and match components to customise your bike for a wide range of terrains – and ride the way you want!Key Features:Raised hood head prevents hand misalignment and slippage,Recessed finger notch prevents upward slipping,Anti-slip texture and brake lever coating,Improved braking input performance,Higher brake lever axis and curved brake lever,Improved grip and confidence on choppy surfaces and descents,Higher braking efficiency reduces fatigue on long rides.

Campagnolo Super Record 12 Speed Hydraulic Ergos and CaliperMore ergonomic, more precise, more powerful and easier to maintain, this set combines an Ergopower Super Record 12 speed disc brake controller and a brake caliper to keep your ride under control in all road cycling situations. Benefitting from many of Campagnolo's finest technologies including Vari-Cushion, One lever-One action, AMS Adjustment and an Ultra-Shift System, this model also offers a wide range of features and customisation for fine-tuning your braking and shifting performance.12 Speed Ergopower Super Record Disc Brake ControllerThe mechanical controller for the Ergopower Super Record 12x2 Speed Disc Brake offers an ergonomic, comfortable and safe support and grip thanks to Vari-Cushion technology, essential for those who stay on the saddle for several hours. The controls' inner workings are a concentration of technology and experience, starting with the "one lever-one action" function, which assigns each lever a single function, helping avoid shifting errors at tired or distracting moments, and then continue with the multiple shifting options which allows up- or downshifting by up to 5 sprockets at a time thanks to the Ultra-Shift mechanism. This function allows you to maintain cadence even in case of sudden changes of incline or rhythm, with speed and ease as useful as it is surprising.Further useful features are the levers' adjustability, which, thanks to Reach Adjustment, enable a low grip on the brake lever, helping those with smaller hands; and AMS Adjustment, which enables braking power modulation, using the dedicated adjusters. The Super Record Disc Brake brake levers are engineered with a double curvature for improved grip and are lightened with two slots that are added to the one dedicated to Reach Adjustment.Campagnolo CaliperThe flat-mount Campagnolo brake caliper ensures powerful, modular braking in any situation owing to pistons measuring 22mm in diameter. The pad return is now optimised to ensure that there is no friction when the brake lever is released. A special metal plate positioned between the pad and the caliper piston cushions the vibrations during braking. The Campagnolo brake caliper is designed to be mounted together with the disc chosen by the rider (available separately) and to always guarantee the highest level of performance. Careful attention was given to making maintenance and assembly operations easy: the pads have wear indicators and replacing them is facilitated by the absence of physical return springs. Additionally, work was done on the insertion of the disc in the caliper to make changing the wheel easier and faster.Features: Use: Road Speed: 12 speed Controller Technologies: One lever-One action, Ultra-Shift System, Ergopower Control Caliper Technologies: Standard Flat Mount, 22mm pistons in phenolic resin, Piston-caliper connector, Interchangeable spare parts, Wear indicator Comfort: Vari-Cushion hood Adjustment: 3 levels of reach adjustment Ultra-Shift System: Up to 5 sprockets in downshifting, up to 3 in upshifting Enlarged Shifting Paddles Single or Pair: Single Weight: 462gTechnologies: Controller Technologies: Comfortable Body: The controls enable a solid, safe grip when pedalling out of the saddle or gripping high on the handlebar.
